Hey it's you again, how weird, the last thread I randomly picked to write in, you also OPd, well you know what they say, great minds think alike, must also apply to us two lesser minds as well ;).
Quite the coincidence. ^^

It's either The Simpsons or South Park (earlier seasons). Those two have made the biggest impact in my life and are still some of the funniest shows ever. They both have so many great jokes you can use for a quick laugh.

Also loved The Chasers War On Everything, M.A.S.H, Futurama, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto (till about 133), Hunter X Hunter original, Bezerk, The Looney Tunes, Tiny Tunes, X-Files, Venture Brothers (early seasons), The Cosby Show, and some others I can't remember right now.

Sadly, most shows I see now are pretty crappy. MLP is the last one I was enjoying, season 2 is pretty crappy with the writing so I think it's already ended for me. I still need to get around to watching Breaking Bad though.

Father Ted, Blackadder, Black Books and Fawlty Towers. I love strange humour like that. And proud of Father Ted being a really good show that was made in Ireland!

Notch up another one for Babylon 5. Even the rough first and last seasons are still better than most of what's available and when it was hitting it's stride it was amazing.

Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Funny, moving, imaginative, with great animation for the time and a bunch of well-characterised protagonists and antagonists which inhabit a world of flying sky-bison, elemental kung-fu, all melted down in a crucible with a lot of influences from Eastern cultures.

Also, Toph. Toph alone would make the series good.

The answer is not this.

Six Feet Under is the best show of all time, though I also love Lost, Breaking Bad, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Scrubs, and Arrested Development.

Hustle.

I'm getting able to predict it almost, but still, it just has a short-term, self-contained appeal that keeps me looking forward to it. Couple of criticisms are that it doesn't really have any really unlikable villains because it's not a gritty show (although the corrupt police officer Fisk was actually really unlikable) and sometimes doesn't establish very well how despicable the villains are (resulting in me not particularly appreciating them getting screwed out of their money), and that there's no continuity, even if the featured person of the episode is like regional director of the police force, they still only feature in one episode and despite promises to eventually catch the gang, they are never seen again. Then again, that's also a point in its favour in a strange way - it's not bogged down by unnecessary characters, it has a formula and it sticks to it. Lastly, reveals often cause some minor retcons, but I'm not bothered by it.

I don't have one favorite show, but I do have several (not in any particular order):

Eureka
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Gravity Falls
Scrubs
Fullmetal Alchemist [Brotherhood]
Durarara
Archer

And I definitely have to say, Archer is something. It's been described to me by many as "Spy movie + Arrested Development". I didn't like Arrested Development though. I was absolutely astonished when I watched the first episode of Archer and couldn't stop laughing.

That 70s Show.

It always puts me in a good mood and the jokes never get old. I wish I could put my favorite episode on my iPod, but I have yet to find them on iTunes.

Beast Wars
That show was my childhood. It was the first show to ever make me cry. It was funny, serious and had its momments that made you go WTF. To me it was better then the orignial Transformers series. The only problem I had with it was that they made a squel series that was terible.

Currently its Adventure Time, but the child inside me screams Freakazoid.
Gravity Falls deserves a mention too.
And yes, I love cartoons.

My favourite TV show of all-time?that?s a toughie. There are so many classics to choose from. The Simpsons, Only Fools and Horses, Friends, Scrubs, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Dragon Ball, The Office (UK version), Family Guy, Heroes (the first season), Hustle, Malcolm in the Middle?

As for my favourite TV show currently airing, that?d be League of Super Evil. I watch it on CBBC every weekday after I return from school.

Spongebob. I can't help it. I have about four seasons of it on my laptop and whenever I see it on TV I immediately flail and put that channel on. I even watched the Christmas special yesterday.

It's not even Christmas. D:

Sci-fi wise, The X-Files and Stargate SG-1. They don't make them like they used to. *grumble grumble*

Though I don't tend to watch tv much anymore, I like satirical comedy and documentaries in general.

I've always liked M*A*S*H, but I liked the later seasons more with B.J., Col. Potter, Winchester, and Klinger having a bigger role.

And who doesn't like Mystery Science Theater 3000 (that counts right?) STUPID PEOPLE! (I liked Mike more than Joel.)

I can't think of my favorite cartoon series, there are so many I love but my fav. at the moment is Transformers Beast Wars.

I'm glad to see a few other fans of The Wire. It's definitely my favourite thing at the moment, especially because I'm currently on a second runthrough. Incredible achievement. An unfortunate side effect is it ruins pretty much anything else that tries to do the gritty crime drama thing, with the exception of perhaps The Shield.
