Only because I don't want to repeat what has already been said, I'll throw in Lightning's Gunblade from Final Fantasy XIII. It's one thing to have a sword with a gun chamber built in for a concussive effect, but seeing a weapon go between being a sword to a functional rifle is friggin badass.

You will not likely be disappointed. Though that game does get freakin' hard at some points, it does have the added bonus of being hilarious.

Plus, jetpacks!
