GO ROTTWEILERS!!!

Really, it's a shame they have such a bad reputation. My family has had two rotweilers, and both of them have been the most loving and calm dogs you'll ever meet.

I'll have to say Sharpies. The wrinkly puppies are adorable and the one I have though dumb as a post and a huge AW (attention whore).

I prefer mutts, I've found pure bred dogs to be dumb as shit and prone to all sorts of diseases and health problems. If I had to pick a breed it'd be goldens since that's most of what I grew up with and they were great dogs.

Great Danes. They're adorable and great with people. I had one as a kid and he was awesome.

Can't really decide, to be honest. Got a lot of dog breeds I like.

Huskies, border collies, Australian shepherds, German shepherds, dalmatians, akita inu...stuff like that, pretty much. :p

To live with, Miniature schnauzers. They live a long time, are some of the most intelligent breeds out there, are small enough to have on the lap but big enough to not break a bone by tripping over them. They don't have too many serious health risks, and require less exercise than other dogs, meaning in this day and age, its easier to keep them healthy. They don't drool, and they don't shed. Their hair (Yes, its technically hair) is so soft, too. They're really practical dogs. I've been combing breeds and hybrids for another dog since the sudden death of my dog last Winter, and the only thing that came close was the Kerry Blue, since it's hypoallergenic.

Still, I can't help but like the looks of pariah dog breeds. In the future, if I own a lot of land, I'll prolly get a well-trained german shepherd for an outdoor dog.
(And if I'm really geeky in the future, it will be white, and named "Hewie.")

Excellent choice! Shame that so many people crop the ears, though. They look downright adorable with the floppy, Labrador-like ears. So much friendlier-looking that way! Now, cropping tails, I can kinda understand. Those things are like clubs when they're happy, which is a lot, and they're perfectly positioned to clear tabletops and exact punishing genital pain with a single swipe!!!

As much as it sames me to say it: I love poodles. Mainly because my dog is a poodle and he is a badass who once saved a little kid from getting hit by a car (intentionally) and has been smart and loyal for all of the years that I've had him.
Also, poodles don't shed, so that's nice too.

Personally love cats, but I absolutely adore the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel simply because I kinda look like one:

Ha, you thought you might get a pic of me didn't you?

I have many fond memories of tail whips to other people, the ones with me aren't so fond. I wouldn't crop either, our dog's ears were cropped but failed to "set", so he had these pointy floppy ears. I love Danes, I just wish they weren't so much work. They're like this adorable floppy drool monster that just wants to love.

I love puggles, too, but cats will always reign supreme, just ask Snotnarok!

I love the Huskies' appearence.
If I had a dog it'd either be a Husky so I could hug it all day or a German Shepard for his intelligence/strenght.

Over here in germany, cropping is illegal since 1996(exept for medical reasons).
And to be honest, I haven't encountered a breed that looked better when cropped, yet.
The tail whips of large dogs may be annoying at times, but in the last few years I grew very, very fond of tails, simply because you get another 0.25 second to grab your dog when she's up to no good... ^^

I love these, they are gigantic huskies.

Border Collies are my personal favourite. I have two currently, and they are adorable.
