I write, collect Art Deco-period objects, and am slowly getting into photography. I also enjoy photoshopping together wallpapers. Though those tend to be video game related, so that might not count.

I study philosophy, still kind of nerdy but I like it. It's my go too when I can't play video games.
I always hated the sterotype of the uber nerdy gamer, sitting in the basement with bad acne and glasses. The South Park World of Warcraft episode did not help... Gaming makes me happy and is a release from alot of the stress in my career and life.
On that note:

I work out anywhere from 6-11 hours a week. Considering the stereotype of a gamer is that your lazy, fat and never do anything that involves physical activity I figure that is a pretty stereotype breaking 'hobby', although I don't enjoy working out at all.

Also, while this isn't a hobby either, I work as a lifeguard. Not sure if this counts, but I don't think most people would consider that to be a 'nerd' job. Maybe working at a comic book store or shitty restaurant.

Lately I've been doing something I thought I would never do. I've been doing some of this:

And there's a chance I could die! Yeah! I only got some scrapes and bruises so far, I haven't seriously injured myself yet, so until that happens (and let's hope it never does), all I have to say is that I never imagined riding a piece of wood on wheels could be so much fun. It's been quite a liberating experience. Of course I don't go as fast as the guy in the video yet, but still it's pretty amazing. I'm 27 and I admit I got into it pretty late, but the support I've been getting from the longboarding community, both online and in my area, has been pretty cool.

Other than that, I also enjoy running, playing some soccer and I got back to drawing and painting and shit. I guess that's pretty much it, I never really had any hobbies.

I love sports!
Everything from physically draining ones like football, tennis and badminton to the more technical and mentally challenging sports like snooker and darts. I also hit the gym at least twice a week and do 6-9km runs a few times a week. Well I used to, before I got injured, but I should get to start training in a few weeks time I hope.

Mine is sports, I love pretty much all kinds and regularly play basketball and Australian rules football. Also, possibly one of the few gamers to have played state volleyball but who knows lol

I also love cars and hopefully when I am working in the future and have a new car I want to turn my current car into a project car and spend plenty of time and money working on.

Looking back now though I probably fit more into a typical jock stereotype though I don't really see myself as one.

I am... well...

I got nothing. I'm antisocial, [footnote]I do not care how your day went nor do I want to tell you about my day[/footnote] I only go outside when I need to, my only hobby is video games, and I am a (slightly) overweight paper-white male with bad acne.

I don't wear glasses, does that count?

I used to do Kendo before work got in the way of classes.

And given the choice between gaming and tramping in the bush, I would go bush nine times out of ten.

I... Uh... I've got nothing.

I mean... I write, or I used to before my ability to focus on one thing for longer than 5 minutes was shot; gaming is one of the only things I can sit down and just do to the exclusion of everything else. Even then I will occasionally start getting antsy during loading times, even short ones.

I draw sometimes, but I can go months or even a whole year without drawing a thing. I sing, but not in a choir or a band or anything; I just like to sing along to things or make up silly songs while I butter my bread. I read a lot, but again, my attention span is shot so I tend to stick to things with simple plots and/or not too long. I tried to re-read A Game of Thrones recently - last read when I was 17 i.e. 13 years ago - and I just couldn't do it, which makes me sad.

So yeah, I got no hobbies besides gaming. And now I feel bad. THANKS OBAMA.

I can't think of anything, really.
The reason why being that I naturally assume that people have a multitude of hobbies and dispositions.
One doesn't have to be introverted to be a gamer, one will rarely if ever have but one hobby to define their own self with.
Thus I am inclined to put nothing...

But then the egotistical maniac in me is going to put writer, musician, artist and overall creative devil anyway.
I have also dabbled in a bit of entomology/zoology and what have you. Researching the fauna of this planet on your own terms is quite interesting, and sometimes quite rewarding as well. The use of obtained knowledge might not come immediately, but one day you're going to be glad to be able to know what exactly bit/stung ya, why and what in the bloody hell you can do about it!

I'm just gonna copy-paste my response from a similar thread, if you don't mind.

Well, I recently started hitting the gym and started taking boxing classes so I guess those count. I love to go snowboarding every winter that I get the chance. I'm a qualified snowboarding instructor and have taught a bunch of people, mostly my friends how to snowboard. I just love to hit the snow, though I rarely get the chance considering I live in one of the most temperate countries in the world.

But most of all, not including my nerdy hobbies, I really love to ride motorcycles and I am slowly saving up for a cruiser like a Triumph Thunderbird. I love European Motorcycles quite a lot, I feel they just have this aesthetic and quality to them that you just don't get in Japanese or American bikes. I mean, just look at this thing, it's gorgeous!

Well it isn't a hobby yet but I'm in the process of becoming a homebrewer :)
Gonna be making my own alcohol; bitches love alcohol.

And I write as well but my short stories are usually military sci-fi which is kinda something I'd expect a gamer to write.
My poetry is usually nature related however.

I don't do much else besides work and college these days anyway so my only real hobby right now is gaming.

Well, I'm a church going, thrash metal drummer. Who smokes, enjoy games a tad too much. Also practice Kickboxing, waiting for Aikido to come to our little city. I also can't shave my beard because with my curly light brown hair, I'd look like a girl, as a 20 year old >.<

Those are beautiful fish...

Well, I'm quite a docile, laid back individual, so I spend a lot of time with my pets, too...I also enjoy regular long walks of 30 mins to an hour. I just listen to music and think. That's it.

I try to be arty, but I'm not great at it.

Archery...what a cool hobby. That's the kind of sport I could really get into. Strengthening, and can be done in solitude. I just wish I had the drive to get into sports without worrying about looking like an idiot.

EDIT: Dear, god I'm in love with koi, now!

I go to school for digital media and animation, and have a passion for interactive arts. I've been studying what makes effective character designs, animations, and plots, as well as interactive theory and interactive art.

That's probably still stereotypical gamer... um... I enjoy boxing and kickboxing. I've been doing it for several years. I've always had superb agility and coordination, but lacked heavy power.

I try to draw alot because I am studying for animation. At least 2 hours of drawing/concept art per day.

Line art I guess:

Same here. But I don't think it really breaks the stereotype that much. If I tell people I'm a gamer and an archer, I usually get the same look for both. You know, the one that screams 'nerd'. From what I can tell I'm the only one in my small town who does it, so maybe it's a more common thing for other people.
It is the ultimate stress reliever though and everyone should try it.

I don't hate women?

This is a weird and amorphous stereotype, so....

You own Japanese fish, breaking a stereotype of a culture that is supposedly obsessed with all things Japanese.

Just saying.

Well, I don't really know what the stereotype is supposed to be in the first place.

But I write. And play the guitar. But saying I can play the guitar is like saying Kenny G is a good jazz musician.
Now now, don't be too hard on yourself. Nobody would say Kenny G is a good jazz musician. :p

I'm a musician myself, though only in the sense that when I hold an instrument, something resembling music comes out rather thn fire or something. I'm more passionate about it than good or anything. I play many instruments--badly. Music keeps me sane, though. Banging on a keyboard is more therapuetic than just about anything I can name.

This is where the stereotype being so vague is problematic, though. There's a huge base of gaming nerds obsessed with music, so is that part of the stereotype, or no? Does it only fit if it applies to video game music, or the very stereotypical metal?

Additionally, a ton of us are writers to some varying degree. I'm trying to get published. I may not be good enough, but I'd rather try than not, you know? I just need to get the focus back to actually write queries. It's easier writing Escapist posts. Especially since none of these will impact a particular job.

I workout every day. I do at least 2 sets of 20 push ups a day minimum because there really isn't a good excuse on why I couldn't find the time.

That's the beauty of archery: Find some deserted spot in the middle of nowhere and shoot your arrows in peace without some asshole looking over your shoulder, cracking bad jokes.
