I'm playing Assassins's Creed Revelations (X360). I'm not very far in (sequence 3) and I'm already finding it suprisingly difficult. Every time I venture into a Templar den I get basically screwed. Also not a fan of the bombs. I find them fiddly and not very useful. I prefer up close and personal. Apart from that, it's the same series gameplay I know and love, just a bit FRUSTRATING SOMETIMES!

I took a break from collecting (and losing) souls to try to get to know people at my new school. I hope everything will be fine with Hanako. I actually care. :$

(yes, guess the games if you want)
Katawa Shoujo.

Don't worry, a lot of us are enjoying that game. Myself included.

Right now I'm playing 'Splosion Man and the aforementioned Katawa Shoujo. Both of which I am enjoying immensely.

Team Fortress 2 on PC- 1,000+ hours combined with my Xbox time before I upgraded to PC. What an amazing game...it's fantastic, utterly great.

Skyrim on PS3- I've been putting it off (Brutal Legend, Rayman, Borderlands, AssCreed, Katamari and so on got in the way ;/) but I'm gonna come back to it. I hope I can get immersed, I really would love to love it, but it seems like such a trawl. I did think that, what, 10 million? Gamers can't be wrong though!

I'm playing Serious Sam 3 and I can say it could quite possibly be one of, if not the best game released this year.

I haven't had this much fun playing an FPS for many many years. Such a mindblowingly enjoyable experience.

From the power of the weapons, to the music, the graphics, the speed of the action... just brilliant. Also 16 player campaign co-op is a blast.

Also it is a pretty impressive title from what technically could be called an indie developer with a relatively small publisher.

Uncharted 3 first time playing an Uncharted game I don't like the main dude he seams like a smug douche bag. Also I think I would have just as much fun watching it as playing it. So far not liking it.
To be fair Uncharted 3 does start quite slowly, but it does pick up, you just need to stick with it. If you want more action, Uncharted 2 is probably a better game to start with. But if you really end up hating 3 then I doubt there is much I can say to convince you to check out any more in the series.

I have finally started Skyrim, I have no idea what I am doing. I have basically faffed about, gone to the first town, got yelled at by a little girl for breaking into her house and gone on a mission for the shop keeper. Overall, its ok, I am going to have to play it some more but I can already tell its going to eat a hell of a lot of my time.

Well I'm playing three games I got in the Steam Holiday Sale at the moment, because I'm like that:

1. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. Well actually it's Assault on Dark Athena, but I probably won't even play that part right now. Almost finished EFBB. It's a bit uneven with jarring switches between stealth and full-on FPS shooting sections (including sections where you have an unlimited ammo minigun or are inside a double-minigun toting killing machine), but the stealth parts and the shooting elements where it doesn't go too nuts are very good. I previously owned it on Xbox but me and first person console games don't go well together, so I never got far.

2. Sonic Generations. What's this? A sonic game that I enjoy? I haven't given a damn about Sonic since the days of the Sega Mega Drive (as it was called here). It's fast, fun, and replayable. Very impressive, especially for the bargain bin price I got it for.

3. Blur. It's basically like Mario Kart 64 (the best Mario Kart) with real cars. Only:
- You can see which power-ups you're going to pick up, so you can aim for what you want (though it's obviously difficult at times)
- You can hold three items at once and switch between them, so you can save a shield/boost for when you need it
- You can destroy other racers
- Instead of blue shells, there's a lightning item that throws some lightning fields in front of first place. They're able to dodge them (unlike blue shells), and the rest of the racers have to navigate through them too.
- It's not stupidly easy

If that doesn't sound like a great game to you then I feel like you're doing something wrong.

Batman: Arkham City

I like everything about how the game plays, the plot (while a bit far-fetched) is very well written, and all the references to the vast Batman continuity really tickle my geeky comic book fan bone.
However I can't help this sinking feeling that they just took Arkham Asylum and put it in a sandbox... hopefully that feeling'll fade with time...

Persona 4:
Great story, characters and combat system. I REALLY like it. I just wish the dungeons felt less like random mazes. I'm only at the second one, and I'm already getting annoyed...

Galactic Civilizations 2:
Probably the best civ game I've ever played. It's REALLY fun. And just for laughs, I made Bowser's army, and the Ponies as enemy races for my current match. Surprisingly, bowser has been pathetic, and Celestia...Holy cow she's devious. She's up there as one of the top 3 civs, AND she has enough influence to auto-win every single United Planets vote.

Dreamkiller:
Picked it up for 2.50 on the Xmas Steam sale. For 3 bucks, it's not bad. It's just...The concept is so amazing...and the rest of the game is just meh...only 2 weapon slots, combat just feel clunky...Still, I think I can get 3 bucks worth of fun out of it. I'm just disappointing that it doesn't live up to the AWESOME concept.

Saints Row: The Third

Enjoying every moment of it, although I do think I have been playing it a little too much...As a matter of fact I am playing it right now.

Its balls to the wall crazy, fun, and very addictive.

Uncharted 3

The game doesn't have much buildup. I'm maybe three hours in, and it still feels the same way -- overly exciting, fast paced shooty-shoot, occasionally broken up by climbing or a puzzle section.

I'm disappointed there isn't as many stealth moments, the combat is almost the exact same, in every way, and the climbing sections are still abysmally slow. I like all of the puzzles the game throws at you, them being harder to find out but easy enough to get in a few minutes.

EDIT: Just saying, I think on my first playthrough of Uncharted 3, the game is good, but I don't think it will last me as long as Uncharted 2 did.

Currently playing AI War, it's a 10/10 in every respect. My only regret is lacking in friends to play it with (it's mostly a co-op focused game).

I don't do impressions. My training is in psychiatry.

I prescribe a heavy dose of Saints Row games for zany, violent sandbox fun.

Past few days I've been playing Skyrim a lot. Don't need to spend much time on that. Everyone knows how awesome it is.

Also been playing Need For Speed World a lot recently. It's really good! I'm so happy to have found an NFS game that is actually good! That hasn't happened for 5 years. It's just a shame they had to lift pretty much everything that is good about it from the last NFS games that were actually good. Well, whatever. I'm having fun and that's all that matters.

Now I think about it 5 years isn't really that long at all. Although I guess that's long in terms of NFS games, which is such a sad thing. There's been 8 NFS games since then... I would be happy if there were only 2!

Today I also had a go on Mirror's Edge after not playing it for what is probably over a year now. Still really love the style of it. It's so unique and striking. Made me remember why I love it so much. Although I seem to have lost what little skill I had at the game. Need to learn all over again. I was also thinking of buying a Mirror's Edge t-shirt. I looked it up and they still sell them! Never even knew they ever sold any at all to be honest.

Fusion: Genesis - XBL Arcade Game

It's sorta Topdown Space Shooter where you can join a faction and fight for them and earn your way up and enough to buy better and larger ships, you can stick to a fast scout or a powerful heavy support fighter, earn a load of money with a cargo ship or save up and level up and get a power Cruiser/Battleship and just destroy everything. Still trying to figure out how to PvP but it's addicting.

Finally got to experience Shadow of the Colossus now that it's been re released. I finally got to see what everyone is so excited about. So far I'm stuck on the fourth colossus, have no idea how to get on top of him. Going from x to triangle for jumping is strange enough but after playing infamous the climbing's just bizarrely controlled. Strangely I like riding around and exploring more than the colossus fights, especially when you find those miniature obelisks.

I am just beginning Morrowind
I notice that it's always easier to point out what i do not like about something

Aaaaaaand, it is cool, very nice landscape
There is less voice acting than in oblivion, it's kinda hard to read all that junk
And the combat is pretty laughable, wave sword at enemy, watch them fall over
The journal is terribly designed, you have no active quest, but i guess tat makes it slightly more realistic
One ting i noticed is tat ingredients ave no effect description!
You're basically eating whatever looks cool, and most o it says ''blorb as no effect on you'' anyway, very strange
Te walking speed is downright STUPID, i increased it by cheating and set it to 300 in the console, and tat is a real problem since you often ave to escort people, and i have ran away from at least one dude, i never found Him again

I like that there is more variation in weaponry, like spears and staffs
Te main story was rater clumsily introduced, i basically know everything about it 2 ours into the game

And what the fuck is with those creaking wood bridges!?!

You have to get it's attention so it looks for you down one of the underground tunnels. Then while it's looking down there you sneak up behind it and climb up it's tail on to it's back. You don't have to spend long underground, just long enough for it to get interested and look for you. If you spend too long it will stop looking for you and you'll have to get it interested again.

Shogun 2

I am uh... really ridiculously bad at it, I guess. I don't know what my problem is, but I just can't make it work haha. I'm enjoying trying, but the one time I actually started making some progress, I wasn't keeping an eye on my citizenry I guess (Or didn't really know what I should be looking for) and they staged a revolt that I was unable to put down. The game warned me well in advance, but I just could not figure out what I needed to do do stop it. I sort of know now. I went and watched GetDaved on YouTube, and he explained it a bit.

I dunno... I love strategy games... but they never love me back.

Currently playing The World Ends With You, Okami and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Mostly UMVC3, who would have through that a fighting game got more playtime than both Skyrim and Saints Row 3 combined. Though i'm always like that with fighting games, i pick the most interesting character and run with him/her/it.

I'm spending all the time fanboying over Phoenix Wright's perfect implementation into a fighting game when i should be playing Okami, ICO and actually finishing TWETY. He's just so in-character! *squeeee*

Okami looks awesome, (2 hours in btw) i like that i can just go "yeah whatev's i'm the god of the sun bitches!" and Amaterasu has an epic "doesn't give a fuck" look on her face when she gets a new power. Though they give a good intro in the opening cutscene and then give the same intro again after you hit new game but with slightly more detail and it's unskippable. Kinda unneeded.

TWETY is good, still a bit baffled as to why they give you EXP for turning the game off and doing something productive though...

Why do all the games i like have some sort of Visual Novel type stuff in them? It's a conspiracy i tell you!
