My plan was always to go into Comp Sci as a result of my love for video games, and I did. But, as my high school graduation drew nearer, I discovered I have a passion for screwing around with hardware, too. I also realized that there's an increasing number of CS majors, many of whom don't have a clue when it comes circuitry. Those two factors led me to take up Computer Engineering as my second major. I still get a kick out of the bewildered looks I get when I'm replacing SMDs by hand at work.
(I can make a computerized system do practically anything, but I'll probably get stuck with a job putting web pages on toasters. :/ )
