I'd like a movie where the bad guys won for once, on equal grounds. The good guys always winning tends to get old.
I'd hate to watch a film or play a game where the good guys just lost. I'd wonder why I've been watching the tales of Jasper Awesome if he was just gonna die.

The cliches, I can't decide which I hate more.
Overpowered bad guys compared to pitiful good guys, who win through cunning tricks.
How the role reversal has become the norm - ie, the big stupid guy is in fact big and very intellectual. Sure, it was funny the first time. Now, I don't think I've seen anything with a big stupid guy. They're always Oxford graduates.
Arrogant heroes who don't even realise they're doing it, ie the old 'I'll never be like you' against a villain. Amusingly, the villain is rolling in stacks of cash, and so far all you've done is tell him he's a lower form of life.

Well I don't like the Horror movie cliche of evil corporation trying to harness the big evil as a super weapon, been done so many times.

It does vary from person to person, but if you already know how the series is going to end, doesn't that make things too predictable? I wish it was a 50/50 type of deal, because lets face it, sometimes the bad guys do win.
Maybe the bad guys winning halfway through a series is okay, because then at least there's a chance. We don't watch these things to see who wins, we watch them to see how the good guy gets out of his latest mess.
I know full well that the good guy would win, but it's just good fun watching him do it.

One thing I learned from cliches: always retire approximately three weeks before you initially planned to. Because chances are when you're only two weeks to retirement is when you'll be killed.

In any given horror movie, a woman being chased by the monster will invariably fall down.

Every apartment in Paris has a view of the Eiffel Tower.

All Asians know martial arts.

All television news programs broadcast information directly related to the plot no matter what time of day the television is turned on.

All beds are equipped with a special L-shaped top sheet, which reaches up to armpit level on women but only to waist level on men.

Black, comic relief sidekicks. I'm 100% White and even I find this stuff really offensive. 'The twins' from Transformers 2 pissed me right the hell off.

I was tempted to say nature loving, peaceful primitives namely because primitive cultures that love nature are often MORE violent than advanced ones(Mayans, Mongols etc). I won't because I can't deny how much fun I had with Avatar.

The good guys winning. For once, I want to see a movie, like James Bond, where the main good guy everyone likes dies, the evil guy wins, blows up half the world and turns the planet into chaos.

Or the crappy horror movies where the the useless chick in the movie suddenly finds courage and kills the killer/monster/whatever. I want a movie with balls. A movie that says 'You know what? Fuck you, audience! See this character you like? See him going through all this horrifying stuff to save his wife or child? BANG! We kill his wife/child. BANG! We kill your favourite character! BANG! Everything that made you feel good about yourself has been killed! Now watch as the bad guy gets away with raping the dead bodies!"

A "message" that blows it all out of proportion. In Avatar, would any human being really act like that? Really?

I hate cliches like the plague.

Okay, okay, it's the noble hero. "You may have caused wars, killed hundreds of people, molested my house and burned down my wife... but since you're about to fall off a cliff, let me offer you my hand."
molested your house and burned down your wife?
Here's what I wanna see: same senario, but then, just as the hero gives the villan his hand - pulls him in and BAM! HEADBUTT OFF THE CLIFF! SUCK ON THAT, DICKHEAD!!!
