While I respectfully disagree with you about Halo and Gears of War I must agree wholeheartedly with this. While it isn't my number one most disliked game I did have serious issues with a game that had enemies that could run at a hundred miles per hour and drop you in two hits and of which no matter how many rounds you poured into it you will always get killed before they even notice you are hitting them.Mar451 said:Vampire Rain is the clear winner tho
You know, I didn't really find the game too bad. The environments were pretty and had a decent variety, ranging from old tombs to hi-tech cities to Hel itself, and the combat system at least tried to be original. The voice acting was a little weak in some places (especially the same few lines they'd spout in combat) and the story wasn't great, but the premise was at least fresh (and I though it was really cool). and the death scene. I admit, having the same thing happen repeatedly can get annoying, but it's really no different to any other death scene, except it places you in a better position on the next run through. It doesn't even happen that much if you know what you're doing. Also, I liked it because the little nordic tune they play is very soothing and nice. I didn't even mind dying that much because it meant I could hear it.Recess said:Hmmm... I'd say Too Human was the worst game i've played for quite some time.
You're not alone.Xzi said:The Halo series as a whole. The fact that anyone thought the first game needed a sequel, let alone SPIN-OFF sequels, makes me facepalm so hard.

Is that the game you were talking about?![]()
Nevermind, it's happened, batten down the hatches and prepare for flame war lunacy.Xzi said:The Halo series as a whole. The fact that anyone thought the first game needed a sequel, let alone SPIN-OFF sequels, makes me facepalm so hard.
Halo a thousand times over. Gentlemen, light your torches! Also, Too Human is like Halo's little retarded hunchback sidekick who understands the concept of being a shitty game but just can't quite get the hang of it.Craftybonds said:There arn't very many games that i've outright hated; meaning games that i stuck with until the end and flat out didn't like.
Probably the first halo. I thought it was extremely overrated, and i felt it didn't deserve much praise. it didn't bring anything new to the table, and i thought it was a pretty big disappointment overall. I did like three though. not much had changed, and it was bland as ever, but i think it was forced down my throat by my friends enough until i was forced to like it.
Even though he later retracted that opinion? It's very derivative, basically being System Shock 2 with new graphics and Atlas Shrugged for a storyline, but it's still a good game. If you didn't get into the backstory, wasn't fighting the splicers fun? Well, for the first 2/3 of the game anyway. There is a big dropoff in entertainment after Fort Frolic's done with.CrysisMcGee said:Bioshock, because it didn't live up to the hype. Yahtzee had it right with his review.
