For me, I think I will get around to building a Gaming PC (especially when CS GO is released) and using my 3DS. I might consider a Wii U if Nintendo impresses me at E3. But I feel like Sony and Microsoft are losing my interest with ridiculous motion controls and there vendetta against used games.

If the rumors about the war on used games are true...looks like the current generation will likely be my last.

same as always do absolutely nothing until there are at least 2 games I really really want on a system then buy it (money permitting) im in no hurry I am still playing games I never got round to finishing from the last two gen (well 3 actually but I think the ones left unfinished now are a lost cause).

Once I've got a gaming computer, whatever the Xbox is in the next generation of consoles will only be my secondary way of playing games.

Step 1: wait for next gen to happen
Step 2: decide what to do based on what games are available, what features (good and bad) the new consoles have and my financial situation

No reason to plan that far ahead for this. Plenty of games out now to focus on.

Yeah, i`m thinking of switching back to a gaming pc. I miss the mods and new games tend to get the better price on pc.

First wait until some great games are out for it, and then probably buy a PS4. Don't care about used games much. Backwards compatibility would be nice, but I could live without it. Still, it's all speculation anyway.

I'm a proud member of the PC gaming master race. My plan is to wait for the consoles to come out, then get a shiny new PC that is powerful enough to play the PC ports.

Completely switch to pc, I do most of gaming on pc anyway now and after 6 years I'm sick of playstation firmware updates. So I guess I'm joining the master race, I wonder if there is any kind of initiation I need to take :p

I have so many games in THIS generation that I haven't gotten around to that I'm fine waiting for quite a while before I even think of going to the next generation.

If the rumors about Sony and Microsoft shunning used/borrowed/pre-owned games are true then they can screw off. I'm going all in on the Wii-U and 3DS this gen while reaching into the past to expand my classic games library. There are a ton of games from the PS2, Gamecube, Super Nintendo and many other consoles that I haven't played or, beaten yet after all.

I think I'm actually done to be honest. I'm at the point now where I'm only buying a small handful of games a year.

I think once the Wii, 360 and PS3 are over and done with, that'll be it for my gaming. It's an expensive hobby, and one I don't even enjoy all that much anymore.

If I stick with it at all, it'll probably be entirely handheld gaming.

Upgrade my machine, its due for one, I just need the monies. I'll follow the new xbox closely, but I doubt I'll buy one. As for the New Playstation, I'll wait and see how it pans out, monies wise and what games will be initially released on it.

Sticking with PC. In my lifetime I have purchased and owned almost every system. The only games to date that I haven't been asked to repurchase or re-purchase as "HD" are those games on PC. The thousands of dollars I have spent on consoles and their games/accessories and I have nothing to show for it.

If sony and microsoft have a war against used games, and the console is really expensive, and it doesn't work, and there are no good games out. I'll probably just by the cheapest good gaming PC and pray that it works.
