Fuck you Sony, your gimmicky motion controls bullshit isn't going to fly this time
now I'm going to spend all of my money on a gaming PC and play Crysis 2 on all max settings
at 60+ fps

I'm so fed up with microsoft, sony, and nintendo
and while I will miss playing my favorite console franchises, I just can't stand the constant firmware updates and shitty menu changes to accommodating MORE advertising

Well when that happens im guessing ps3/ 360 will become MUCH CHEAPER. I will just buy a ps3 and purchase all the great exclusives i have been missing all this time ;_;

I'll most likely upgrade to PS4 when they release slim version or something if Sony puts heavy emphasis on quality exclusives like they're doing right now.

Depends.

I've sort of realized that Console gaming is much more relaxing and easy to get into as PC gaming for me, so I'll wait. Building a PC as soon as the next generation comes out seems a tad bit foolish to me. I've also got two more years of solid console titles till I have to decide, and there really isn't any PC title that I'm dying to get.

I'm content with whatever.

Edit: Though then again, Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have to get their shit together, or they're going to get eaten alive by the consumer. Gamers have drastically smartened up since the beginning of the last generation, and shit simply won't stand anymore.

Depending on details for the PS4, i may or may not stay a go-between PC gamer/Console gamer or totally convert to Master Race.

You can plug a desktop into a giant flatscreen TV right?

Id like to wager theres several games that do a better job of toruring your processor than Crysis 2.

Theese "generations" are an arbitary idea that the latest consoles all come out at about the same time.

Obviously this idea is flawed and must be killed with fire.

it's not that it murders my processor, it's that I love that game's campaign and the console version has terrible fps problems

So far I'm leaning towards half Nintendo and half PC, mostly because Nintendo won't have a vendetta against customers not jumping through hoops to play their games (plus I know they'll have exclusives I want) and PC gaming is still ridiculously cheap when it comes to services like Steam, GOG, and the Humble Indie Bundles/Indie Royal deals.

continue as i have. i've already given up on consoles in favor of the PC, i see no reason to go back unless its the Wii U, and even then, needs to be an old school Metriod game

I dunno about you, but whenever I'm sneaking around and a dropship flies overhead to drop some aliens I experience some significant fps drop

I'm a proud member of the PC gaming master race. My plan is to wait for the consoles to come out, then get a shiny new PC that is powerful enough to play the PC ports.
You don't really have to wait like that. PCs generally come out more powerful than consoles, anyway. Plus, they get updated far more frequently.
