See my hometown is New York so that's no fun but now I live in Baltimore. Baltimore is known for many of things like the place Animal Collective left to do something with their music. That's if you like that kind of music to the general public, crabs and you can catch both, also The Wire.
Hmmm...well, my current city is Wichita, Kansas, which is known as the Air Capital of the World (self-proclaimed). We also have Wichita State University, which has the National Institute for Aviation Research, which gives WSU a massive research budget. So I suppose those things make it better known than most anything else in Kansas.
As for my "home address", Rose Hill Kansas is known locally for being only less white-trash than Douglas to the south-east, poorer than Andover to the north, not having as many sluts as Derby to the west, having a retarded 1:1 laptop initiative (the high school gives every student a MacBook to use during the year), and, my personal favorite, the saying "A 10 in Rose Hill is a 7 anywhere else."
