-Liverpool Football Club
-The Beatles

-Recently European Capital of Culture
-Most filmed city in Britain outside of London
-Has 8 museums and 2 cathedrals
-Liverpool is a world heritage site
-Princes Park in Liverpool and Birkenhead Park in Wirral were used as the models for New York's Central Park.

Haveing a mayor who switched tags from expensive cloths to inexpensive, so she could take inexpensive cloths back to the store and pocket the difference.

Basically a felony, several national newspapers reported on it.

Oh, also haveing nurseing home staff that tortured the elderly people they were supposed to be takeing care of.

I live in Goulburn, a smallish town in NSW, Australia
and I am saddened to say this, but we are known for our much higher than average receipt of money from centrelink, and previously our lack of water.

The only notable thing about my town is a kangaroo. That's right we got news coverage because a kangaroo that escaped from the zoo hopped past us.

Also we're in Wisconsin. Cookie for where I am.

My lovely town is the home of the wonderful John and Edward.

Don't worry kids, we've got pitchforks at the ready, waiting for them to come home.

Also, the oldest Bridge in Ireland. :p

This a weird question anyone from a major city could right a book about it.
The Steelers, Mario Lemieux, 3 rivers, and a quite a few other things. Andrew Carnegie, Andy Warhol. The Big Mac was developed here too!
