Yes! What is your most epic song you have on your mp3/i-Pod?

No computers nor CD's.

Just mp3/i-Pod's.

Mine, so far, is Bal-Sagoth's 'The Splendour of a Thousand Swords Gleaming beneath the Blazon of the Hyperborean Empire'.
It's epic just by name, even! But the song is of utmost destrucilicous epicness of powerhouse excitement.

EDIT: by 'epic' I mean somethingt hat stays true to the word: big, fast or heavy; something that really riles you up or gives a somewhat vague sense of awe.

Some of the songs in the halo soundtrack are pretty epic. Or the battlefield theme, or maybe some of the metal I have.

I think I have Green Grass and High Tides on mine, which is basically the greatest song ever.

I'm assuming by 'epic', you mean my favorite song. In that case it's The Longest Day by Iron Maiden

Though this is a close second

EDIT: Woot! Gonzo post

The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
Also, let it be known that your overuse of the word 'epic' is morbidly despicable.

All of them are pretty epic.

I personally like this one on a scale of epicness:

That song is brilliant.
But not as good as this one that resides on my MP3 player.

In my opinion anyway.

Can I blur the line slightly with music from CDs that I converted to MP3 format?

If so, I have two full Rhapsody of Fire albums (plus half of a couple of others). The only question is whether any of those songs can out-epic the others. "Mighty Ride of the Firelord" probably takes top spot, but there's something to be said for "Eternal Glory," "Symphony of Enchanted Lands," "Power of the Dragonflame," "Land of Immortals," "Lamento Eroico," "Emerald Sword"...you get the idea.

Tell you what, for sake of argument, I'll compromise and say "Pride of the Tyrant." It might not be as epic as some of the others, but it's epic enough...and it's the most metal song I've ever outrageously tricked people into singing with me in karaoke.

Good times.

The Odyssey by Symphony X comes to mind.

As does Octavarium by Dream Theater.

The Lamb and the Dragon from Ludo's Broken Bride EP. Save Our City from the same album.

Just a few.

Muse - Knights of Cydonia

No one's gonna take me alive
How about a string quartet cover of Knights of Cydonia?
I honestly prefer it when music goes the other way. Like Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Trans-Siberian is good. I like Vitamin String Quartet though, its a nice change of things.

I was debating on which to post, Velonica or Koi No Mega Lover. I went with the latter obviously :p

Oh yes, I'm quite sure it is! I find the word epic, though, fitting for what this particular thread is about. Yes, I may use a bit much, but it is too difficult, especially at this time of the night, to find another word which describes my point so vividly.
Perhaps you, or some other person could find a differnet word?

But oddly enough, I use the word but 3 times here; epicness just one and once more to use in an explanantion. 'Morbidly despicable' would be using it in every single sentence.
If that is too much for you, I'm terribly sorry. I really am.
