Sorry It was there and it called out to me.lol anyway

The one kickstarter Id like to see; Arcanum of steamworks and magic obscura. No other game blended fantasy with steampunk as well as it did whilst lacking all the "Look gears! GOGGLES!!" That so many other steampunk media varieties carry.

Well, you took mine. So I have to come up with another one.

...The Wizardry games done on the Legend of Grimrock engine. That would be awesome.

Kickstarter I'd like to see:

Xenogears Episode 6, written by Soraya Saga and directed by Tetsuya Takahashi.

....

... or Firefly Season 2. I'd contribute to that too.

I would like to see Chris Avellone's "destroying high fantasy" idea come to life. Granted that's not going to happen soon between the South Park game, whatever else Obsidian is working on and Wasteland 2. Still one day.

Wait do you mean a post apocalyptic fantasy setting? I've totally had that idea before and it would be awesome!!

A new 3D Bomberman game like the N64/Gamecube games. Now that Hudson has gone under, this is pretty much the only way this might happen. Everything else I want is either possible or just not possible for a kickstarter, like localizing Ace Attorney Investigations 2.

I'll second your Arcanum idea. The universe is just too fantastic to let it go to waste. Sure, what I actually want is probably too expensive to make through Kickstarter, but I'd already kill for a beautifully made isometric RPG with gorgeous hand-drawn art (as graphically, Arcanum was old even for it's time), more streamlined (yes) combat and just as much roleplaying genius with all the choices and consequences we can get.

Destroying high fantasy? Care to elaborate on that one?

Simple he said he hates the concept of "high fantasy" and if he gets the opprotunity he wants to turn it on it's head. He said this in an interview somewhere but I don't remember which one. I'll try to go find it now.
EDIT: Here we go. It's the 3rd question.

He's also said this statement in other places and considering how boring high fantasy is starting to get I would love to see what he would do.

I'm most interested in interesting, new, IPs to come out of it.
I would like to see a revival from old Black Isles and Interplay games, though.

Heh, as a fan of plenty of high fantasy works, I'd actually welcome an attempt to really turn the setting over. I wonder what you'll find.

I'd like to see:

-A Punisher game in the style of Escape From Butcher Bay.
-2 Deadwood films or 4th and 5th Season.
-A Space cruise/resort shuttle like "Floston Paradise" in "The Fifth Element".
-A next-gen "Hudson Hawk" game adaptation, as a hybrid of Uncharted and Assasins Creed, complete with original cast voice-work.

I'd go broke helping fund those projects, lol!

Probably none, because personally I think that Kickstarted is now a fad and people will "burnout" quickly like what happened with Kony 2012.

However I would like a "Undergrads" kickstarter. Apart from "The League" there is hardly any series I actually find funny on TV.

Heres a question who currently owns the rights to arcanum?
I'm guessing Activision since Sierra published it and activision bought them and all their rights but who knows they might have gotten rid of it since they had no plans for it.

I'd like to see some talented young people set up a kickstarter for some sort of web serial, a la Doctor Horrible (doesn't have to be a musical).

It looks like an awesome opportunity to get making something creative and amazing.

Timesplitters 4, or at least an HD re-release of 2 and 3.

What I would give. What I would fucking give...

Well obviously Planescape: Torment 2, but considering the rather complicated license situation, the next in line are spiritual successors to 2D point&click adventures. Grim Fandango, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword 1&2 (there are no other Broken Swords as far as I'm concerned), Full Throttle, Syberia (please?), The Longest Journey. I would happily keep buying sequels to classic adventures rather than badly ported console games (not meant with disrespect).

Real shame adventures aren't made anymore. And who the hell decided that 2D is obsolete anyway?
