I got a free Razor when I signed up for a phone plan so I never bothered to get a different one. I've never had a major problem with it (except once, but I just had to replace my SIM card). It suffices for me because I really only use it to send texts and make calls.

I have a real phone service, but the phone I'm using is a cheapie $15 Go-Phone.

Why? Because I'm sick of $200-300 phones breaking on my after a month of light use. This phone has survived for almost two years with only a slight chip in the paint. Watered down so all it does is make and receive calls and SMS. I don't need GPS, internet or whatever other crap phones these days come with.

As a side note, this $15 phone gets better signal than all my friends' Blackberrys and iPhones Chocolates and such.

iPhone 3G, 8GB.

Why? Because after a couple of months of reading technical and user reviews, play-testing with people's phones, I finally decided it would suit me quite well. It does everything I need out of a phone, plus a heap of stuff I didn't know I'd find bloody useful.

I was once one of those sad bastards that got shitty about everyone and their cool phones by saying "If I need a camera, I'll use a camera! And if I need music, I've got my mp3 player! And if I want to play games, I've got a PSP/DS!" but then I realised I couldn't be arsed carrying around all this crap in my bag, so I slimmed down to the Nokia N95, which was a great little beast.

In the end, the iPhone was a natural choice. In retrospect, though, the camera could have been vastly improved.
yeah that sad bastard was me
if it works for you man great but i can carry all my shit with me
im a fireman so im going 2 days at work and 3 days at home thats why it works for me.
i need more than 8 gigs of music and movies. not hating on your phone but it doesnt make sense for me.
I actually mainly use my 8GB for apps and music. I don't watch videos at all, since I have a perfectly good 46 inch LCD TV for that.

Samsung Juke, because I was a complete idiot and thought that it may be a decent mp3 player...

Nokia 3510i (aka Nokia Brick), because I was an idiot when I bought it and can't be bothered to get a new one.

iPhone 3G... Cos I can. Um not really in all honestly I'm a bit of an apple man and the iPhone happened to come out in Australia about the same time that my previous contract expired... It was all to perfect.

I have an LG TE365F. I bought it because it looked cool and was a vast improvement on my last phone, but the UI is ridiculously laggy and it randomly crashes from time to time.

Therefore, I have my sights set on a new phone: the iPhone 3G S. I need a new iPod and a new phone, so it seems like the perfect purchase. All of the apps are just an added bonus. The only thing I'm not sure I like is the three year contract.

I have an EnV3... don't really need all that extra crap, but I needed something better than the horrible hellspawn that was the Juke. Worst phone in existence and I just needed something new.

I have an LG something-or-other. I like to call it the LG Brick-of-Doom. It's simple and isn't that great but I don't care.

A Motorola SLVR

because
1. it has camera(VGA), music, support for a micro SD memory, bluetooth and USB.
2. is thin so it isn't very noticeable in my pocket.
3. Looks fairly good.
4. All of the above for a very fair price.

I want a Sony c905 though, for the camera *drools* but it is too expensive.

I have an Asus smart phone which works like ass half the time. I was carrying two phones around before, one business one personal. This actually does a passable job working as both phones, but it does not operate on the US network as flawlessly as they promised it would.
