1. What's your favorite band/artist?
This is difficult. I think it's a toss up between Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd.
2. Why are they you're favorite?
Pink Floyd is brilliant, just in every way. The only issue I take with them is that they don't have any idle music; you can't just turn on Pink Floyd and go on about your day, because it demands your full attention to be fully appreciated.
Zeppelin is better in this regard. The music is still majestic, still has a lot of depth to it; but because it's more melodic than Pink Floyd, you can sing along as per usual and let it play in the background.
The Stones have a lot of songs that fit the above criteria, where they're brilliant as well as melodic and whatnot; however, I won't lie, I enjoy listening to the Stones' more just kind of "silly" music. I love Gimme Shelter, I love Sympathy for the Devil, but I also love Satisfaction and Jumping Jack Flash. It's just good rock.
3. What's your favorite song?
This is by far my favourite Led Zeppelin song, and arguably one of my favourite songs in the world ever, but ultimately that's impossible for me to tell, because it fluctuates with my mood. I just figured this one was appropriate.
Runner ups:
Hotel California by The Eagles.
Come Together by The Beatles.
Money by Pink Floyd.
Alone Again by Gilbert O'Sullivan.
Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann.
4. What genre/s do you tend to listen to most often?
I suppose classic rock. I don't typically pay mind to the genre of my music, but when I think about it, yeah.
5. And why?
Well, and I'm not speaking strictly of the genre, mind, I tend to listen to music that is melodic and memorable. Songs like Satisfaction, or Black Dog, or My Sharona. It's an added bonus if the song is actually meaningful (the reason Money by Pink Floyd is one of my favourites is because it's as good as other Pink Floyd songs while still being under ten minutes long and with lyrics I can sing along to better than, say, Echoes, or Time) or insightful.
