All sorts really. I've got Led Zeppelin, Enter Shikari, Pendulum, Funeral for a Friend, Nightwish and Killswitch Engage to name a few. I'm not picky really, as long as I like the music.

Folk rock :D
For example, the reliably excellent Scottish-Canadian superband The Burns Unit
(I recommend their songs Trouble, Helpless to Turn, Since We've Fallen Out, Future Pilot A.K.C, and the best one, Blood, Ice and Ashes)
Also, try Belle and Sebastian
(Lord Anthony, Asleep on a Sunbeam, I'm a Cuckoo, and my favourite, Step Into My office Baby - a song about sexual harassment, with some of the best euphemisms I've ever heard. Or maybe it's my dirty teenage mind.)

I listen to mostly hard rock, alternative and I am starting to listen to a little more punk. I listen to a few others but not as much.

Punk and bands that incorporate lots of elements of punk.

Don't know why but I like punk. ^_^

Bleh, I listen to just about anything really at this stage.

Current favourite being progressive metal with intricate guitar work and a good juxtaposition of styles.

Or something, I don't know.

Most of everything between punk and metal, but I prefer it with a down-to-earth punky vibe. If you can tell by my avatar, Anthrax are my favourite band...

But they're being challenged by these guys:

(there's a link on Turbowolf's Facebook page for a free download of their EP)
Rather than whacking out the eclectic-taste ego, I'll just put it out there that THRASH METAL IS THE BEST THING EVAAARRRRRR!!!

Not to say that other stuff is bad, but seriously. Anthrax!

Pretty much all of it. From Elvis and George Thorogood, to AC/DC and Journey (I have yet to find 1 person that does not like Journey and actually has heard some of their songs), Metallica and Megadeth, Dethklok and Fear Factory, Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed, etc.

I even listen to some 80's pop (Michael Jackson may be a bad guy these days, but you can't argue with Thriller) and jazz every now and then. Johnny Cash and other classic country songs are good too (one of my old favorites from when I was a lad was "Bad Bad Leeroy Brown")

Grunge.

The Big 5, in particular. Since, let's me honest, Grunge doesn't really have anything much BUT the Big 5. But let me put them in my personal order of favorites, anyway.

1. Pearl Jam
2. Nirvana
3. Stone Temple Pilots
4. Alice in Chains
5. Soundgarden

I'm still working on completing my grunge CD collection, but Pearl Jam just has so many damn albums.

Dammit, ninja'd.

A little bit of punk, a lot of alternative and indie. That's right, I'm a "hipster", or whatever it is you American folk call it.
