Someone praised the MOSAD on the internet and Operation Wrath of God didn't change their mind.

My only friend-type person turned out to be a nazi a couple days back (so obviously I broke off contact because PREENSEEPUHL) and I just now realised how utterly alone I am.

Upon inspection of the specification sheets, the customer wants this thing in by noon. And the boss has known about this since yesterday. And it needs to be designed from scratch with no usable reference parts. This is how you WIN AT WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT, boys and girls...

Well, I have to work tomorrow which I am not too happy about, the best I can hope for is that I am not too busy, but if things continue as they have been, then I am going to be rushed off my feet. I have dealt with the stress by playing Deadly premonition: directors cut and going back through the chapters and replaying side quests that I have missed up to now. I was surprised by how much it helped.

What really got me today/yesterday/I need to go to bed was when someone I kinda knew started talking about how much they love the show Community. I got excited because I introduced it to a bunch of my friends and I love that show and then she went on about how sad it was that it was getting canceled (though now apparently not). Then she goes on about watching it online... YOUR THE BLOODY REASON GREAT SHOWS GET CANCELLED YOU PARASITE! So yeah, that kinda pissed me off.

Couldn't concentrate at the office today. Was supposed to get overtime. Felt guilty staring unproductively at monitor, went home early. No fat paycheck for me.

Played XCOM versus mode against my brother this evening. Dominated him, he was down to 1 guy with a couple health boxes while I had half my team at full health. Finger poised to deliver the last mouse-click --- down goes Internet.

It seems taking a screenshot in Guild Wars 2 has a 40% chance of crashing the game due to "out of memory" despite having loads of RAM, ample HD space, and running nothing else.

This morning when I set off to walk my dog it was sunny so I wore a hoody. I got 5 minutes into the walk and it rained constantly until I got home, me and the dog both soaked. It's now brilliant sunshine again...

I had this problem. Though I did take an umbrella with me, as this happened the last three times we went out too, it didn't help when the street we were walking down suddenly became a wind tunnel throwing masses of hail at my legs. My ankles are a bit sore, and my jeans are wet, and I have to out again, and I put my good trousers in the wash, and caught the zipper of my other ones on the till at work, so I have to remain damp and uncomfortable.

Other than that, the possibility of redundancy is making me a bit edgy, so everything pisses me off at the moment.

We have mice in our student house at the moment. We put down traps, and my housemates woke up this morning to find one had been caught. Instead of doing anything about it they just posted to us on facebook, and I was the last to see it three hours later. I went straight to the kitchen to see no one had done anything about it, meaning I had to take care of it and clean the trap. I get that they might find it gross, but I do too, I still just get on and do it because I know it's not good practice to keep a dead mouse lying around the kitchen.
