In any game I would be considered a boss and therefore always drop these shiny trinkets:
* One worn shoe with holes in it(enchantment varies between drops)
* One "broken bottle of shanking"
* About twenty pieces of paper with the words "the end is nigh!" written on them(can be used to barter for the other worn shoe by the drunkard in the corner)
** And if you have shears in your inventory I also drop a "Helmet of hobo hair and beard", which has a +15 to creepiness and -20 to charisma enchantment.

Something useless that you'll sell off only to have to come back much later, needing to collect an ass ton of them to get the best something-or-other, and I'll only drop it once per hour of grinding.
