I came here after seeing ZP on G4tv.
I didn't bother to become a member until after I started reading the articles which actually were interesting. It's become my source for gaming news and info.

I started with ZP and after months of lurking and seeing interesting forums going about i made myself become unlazy and register...and now here i am being ever so snooty
Came for ZP, joined for some arbitrary reason I forget due to insanity and stayed because the Star Wars: The Old Republic Off Topic Forum which I used to post on, completely went down the crapper recently. And to be honest, good riddance. These forums are about 100% better anyway. Plus, the mods are a bit mad with power, giving out infraction points for something as simple as posting the Happy in Paraguay video because [sub]wait for it[/sub] it contained swears. Plus, a suspension for posting a video of Duke Devlin from Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged. But then, that was probably since one of the moderators looked directly at his face and had to spend a week in hospital. I much prefer this site's moderation.
Sorry if this post has seemed like a bit of an incoherent ramble, my brain has shut down tonight.

I started watching Zero Punctuation and joined later on.
But it was not before around november-ish times I stopped lurking and found out how awesome people here actually are, then I started posting, and I do not intend to stop.

well it started out as my just watching ZP and UF when all the sudden a forum came up and it was one of those stupid ones with an obvious answer so i created an account commented on how stupid the person was and got suspeneded in under 2 hours. 
I joined because the people here aren't full of fanboys(gamespot/ign) trolls and idiots(youtube) and it has a good community.
Sure we get some of those people here, but most of the time the community verbally destroy them, and they're never seen from again. Mostly.

I watched every zero punctuation faithfully every week, happy and content and felt no need to voice my opinion because for the most part I agreed. Then came that faithful day when Yahtzee bashed demon's souls. It was understandable considering he was on a time schedule, but that didn't justify the rape of the game, so I made an account just to protest that. And low and behold, I find interesting topic and post in them.
I guess... I'm another ZP casualty. I stayed because, in spite of some outburts of elitism from certain members, there are actually some intelligent discussions/funny arguements to be witnessed.
