So, what are some instances that have made you realise your age? Even if you didnt want to?
Whenever people talk about being born in 1990 or after... that one gets me just about every time. It especially comes up with kids whose first console was a PS2 or XBox...

EDIT: Someone was talking on here about how they were born in 1996 and all I could think is I've got Magic The Gathering cards older than you.

I volunteer and helps out with kids who're 8-10 1/2, So they were born around 2000. I'm only 16 and I remember the millenium so I already feel old ):

I can imagine that being a teacher would make you feel old, watching generation after generation of kids grow up and go past you, then eventually bumping into one in another 10 years and wondering where the last ten years went lol.

I remember when I was a kid, I really wanted a 16 colour screen for our computer.

That makes me feel old.

And some people I meet don't even know what a 486 is!

Every time I see someone posting on the internet that was born after 1995 or so(I was born in 1989)... and whenever see a kid run I wonder where the hell they get their energy from.

Pfft, half of you are still kids. You have no right feeling old.

Here's one.

"The Matrix came out over ten years ago."

This thread. Seriously, reading about a bunch of people in their late teens/early twenties posting about how old they feel, and I'm 30.

Thanks for making my Monday morning even more depressing, guys and gals!

IT's all right would you like some ice cream cake?

if it helps I don't think your old. if that makes you feel better.
It is more the realization that we are not the kiddies anymore.

Thank you for virtual sympathy cake, although it must be said I'm quite enjoying my steady transformation from annoying young git into grumpy old bastard! I enjoy a good rant now and then, and the older and grumpier I get the more I have to rant about!

20 years old. Nothing specific, but the fact that i can clearly bring back memories that are older than 10 years, makes me feel old indeed.

The next generation

I'm 20 and I'm already complaining about "Kids these days"...

I really don't see the appeal of Facebook, and most recent popular culture really annoys me.

Now, get off my damn lawn...

Young people telling me I'm old, that makes me feel old.

Plus the cane I walk around with, that also makes me feel old.

The internet make me feel ancient, I just can't keep up with the pace.

EDIT: I'm thirty-one (31) by the by.

Well I'll turn 20 in 1 month and 2 days and were I live you don't get the normal congratulations but everyone just tells you: "Hey guess what! You're half way to 40 now!". Everyone does it and it is kinda funny even if it might make one feel a bit older.
I'm 40. I don't really feel old. I try to stay 18 forever. Hah! The only time when I feel it is when I get a flu or something, you don't recover as quick as you used to.
