Disney World makes me happy. This works best when I am inside it, but can also help to just think about being there.

Listening to my friend's band live. They live across the country, so I can only see them when they perform at DragonCon.

Chicken teriyaki from Sarku/Sakura Japan. No clue why they have two names, but I love their chicken teriyaki.

My plushies. When I am at my worst, I snuggle them close and put on a Disney movie.

Cinnamon brooms at Christmas time. I don't know why, but they always pick my mood up.

Yes, this is the truth. Disney World rocks like ace yo.

Happiness also happens to me when:

When someone grabs my hand, tells me to run and then we go off and have an adventure (daleks may or may not be involved).

I ride rollercoasters

Awesome music is playing, especially if it's live.

This guy knows what's up. My girlfriend (not his) makes me happy too. She's outta town for two weeks though, so today was a little bitter-sweet.

Edit: Wait, this is my first post?

...No, my perfect lurking!!!

The smell of roasting meat in the oven.
Licking cake batter off the bowl.
A cat curled up in your lap.
My players having fun in my tabletop game.
Curling up in bed on a rainy morning and listening to the weather.
Lightning storms.
Getting a sweet headshot in a game.

What has made me happy today? The taste of sweet cornbread, players being excited, and good music.

Allow me to list a series of sentence fragments headed by gerunds:

Being out in the superb sunny weather.
Being indoors, by my triad of windows witnessing some outstanding stormy weather.
Seeing actual effort and creativity put into things on the internet (Moreso if it's Homestuck related. Doubly so if it's MLP related).
Seeing new episodes of my favorite shows.

Laughing at quality internet wit and rhetoric (I assure you this rare treasure actually exists).
Being (or otherwise existing in a perpetual state of) awesome. And the two biggest ones have to be:
Being alive.
Having a God who loves me.

Life is good.

Seeing that for the latest season of anime will actually have a lot of shows that I like. And that the majority of the anime that season isn't just harem/ecchi or anything resembling Dog Days in terms of content.
Also, seeing that not 1, not 2, but 3 series that you really liked are getting new seasons this season. (Hidamari Sketct, Hayate no Gotoku and Gintama)
Yeah, I've got anime on the brain atm.
Oh, and Gyros make me happy. very happy.

Happiness eh?

I'll assume happiness is relative because if not i'll fear i have never been happy .So my answer is solitude . There is nothing like being alone . One with your thoughts . Iv'e recently started working the graveyard shift and it's great . No one to talk to me , no one to bother me , no one but me . The silence , the tranquility is amazing. I wake up , go to work for 10 pm , leave at 6 am . And play videogames until noon . Then sleep til 9pm . It's great.

Then again , this is not "real" solitude . They say humans are social beings . If it was really alone , all alone , with no one around for miles , would i still enjoy it? Or would i go crazy from being alone ? No idea , but no way to try .

Good food. Good games. Good company. That's all I ask for.

I'd say you might just go mad. I love to be by myself but if I go 2 or 3 days without talking to someone (coworkers not included) I start to get antsy. It's the reason solitary confinement is probably the worse it can get in prison. Being all by yourself, cept they don't have stuff to keep them occupied!

Finding an extra chicken McNugget in the box.
I call foul; nobody ever gets an extra McNugget. They have a system in place to see it never happens. Although if you have found an extra McNugget good on you...It's just such a rare occurrence...like a 4-leaf clover only it clogs the arteries...and tastes good.

I'm alright today. What really makes me happy though is listening to a really good song. Like this one for example:

Ya know what else makes me happy for reasons I just can't and probably don't want to understand? The movie Punisher: War Zone. More than once that movie flung me from a pit of depression into the clouds of manic elation!
Happened to me exactly once, but it was an outstanding moment in my life.

[sub]Ok, it happened to me once and it was kinda neat.
Free food hurray![/sub]

This was exactly what i was thinking when i wrote that . I wonder why though . Is it because we are used to being around people? Is it because we were taught to be social? Is it because something in our brain snaps when we are truely alone? Do we just get " bored out of our minds"?
