Where did you manage to acquire Keen 4 at, good sir Ninja? I tried my ancient copy of it, but it's not compatible with 64-bit Windows.

I played it on my old XP computer, my vista laptop won't run it. So you might be out of luck if the original doesn't work on yours.

If you still want to make an attempt, see if this works.

I clicked on the thread and saw how long the OP was. I therefore left the thread thinking it was just another review. Then I decided, "no, why don't I give a review a try". All I can say is, I'm so glad I did. Brilliant.

Thank you.

I often don't have the patience to read reviews either, unless it's by someone I respect I'll avoid them all-together.

That was more awesome than anything I've ever read here. Ever. I underestimated you, Iron.

Out of curiosity, have you decided on your Escapist election position yet? It's hardly important at this point, but I do want to know what we're up against.

More compliments!
Eventually it's going to all go to my head and I'll start hopping around the room, bouncing off walls.

I haven't given the election much thought. Don't I need to be nominated by someone else?

Nomination doesn't seem to be a problem, I think everyone who implied they might want to be nominated was, last time. I'm going to be part of Larenxis' campaign. When it actually matters, you should consider joining us. It should be fun.

It is being considered. Though there is a high possibility that NewClassic and Ares Tyr will want to have the Triumvirate of Evil as a party. The Triumvirate takes priority.

Early recruiting? GASP!
They are indeed prepared. Maybe I won't go ahead with the January Party then...

YES! Commander Keen is, in my opinion, one of the few games that have stood the test of time and remain a good, FUN game to play even to this day. Me and my brother actaully managed to translate by hand the alien language they use in all of the games. And yeah... pogo stick is freakishly awesome.

I once had a dream about a secret level accessible from that level with all the glass tubes and stuff.

I spent months and months trying to find it...

Damn those Pyramids were horrible mazes. I also completed the one where you are on a space ship. Was a bit easier than this one though.

Loved it.

This one of the few reviews that are funny enough to be a joy to read. Certainly others are interesting to continue to keep my attention, but this is one of a select few (all of which I have forgotten) which actually made me laugh. Good work, Kind ninja. Off topic, say high to Gerald from me, he must be upset after you forgot to put him in your childhood drawings!

Wow... Is that easier than it sounds?
Because otherwise I'm going to start backing away slowly.

That mirage level was crazy, I remember having odd dreams aout it too.
I'm attempting the space ship one now, so far I'm finding it to be harder.
Maybe I just suck.

It was deliberate, Gerald wasn't around when I was seven. I had a good talk to him about it, and he wasn't happy, but for realisms sake he accepted it.

Gerald says "low". Unless if you meant "hi" (as Gerald suspects you do) in which case he says "hi" back.

EDIT: What's your secret?

Have you ever thought of starting your own webcomic?
I agree with everything he says. Do a webcomic. Now. NOW.
I third this.

Im sure I have a comander keen game hidden away somewhere. I really want to play it after reading that.
