This review was very much enjoyed. The pictures kept me in and I wanted to know what happened next. By far the best review I have read on this forum so far. I applaud you and your thread, and I hope to tune in to future reviews from you.

Me and my brother actaully managed to translate by hand the alien language they use in all of the games.
Wow... Is that easier than it sounds?
Because otherwise I'm going to start backing away slowly.
Well, one of the billboards appears in the game twice, once using the alien language and once using English letters. Since the sign had all 5 vowels in it, it was pretty easy afterwards to extrapolate the language from other signs. It was just a simple letter-symbol cypher.

I wish to write a haiku about it.

It should be
5 - 7 - 5, not 5 - 7 - 7. So it would be more accurate as,

FeNinja's review,
of the game Commander Keen
was simply awesome.

Of course, my mistake.

I'm not thick, I do know about the 5-7-5 thing, it just escaped me at that moment.

Apologies if I insinuated such a thing. I meant no such thing when I posted. Apologies abound.

Oh no, I didn't mean to insinuate that either.
I apologise.

Does it come in handy?
For example, are there ever signs saying "don't go this way, giant fish ahead" or anything?
Well done anyway.

And now that we seem to be having Haiku
I'll add my own

Win
I'm not quite sure how
But Apparently I won
Kudos to me then

Oh and NewClassic, should the Logician19 find your "apologies abound" I beleive there will be heck to pay (Heck I tell you)

I really need a distinctive thing in my posts, everyone who's anyone has something easily recognised and I don't.
Sigh

Your avatar is Lennon.
But what you could do is win one of those review contests and get a new title that says "pure molten awesome." That would do it.

Yeah my childhood was pretty weird.

If I had a therapist they would have told me that it would help to tell someone about it.
But I don't, so I sort of therapised myself.

Well, one day I'm bound to put the Pure Molten Awesome list down to paper (or by whatever the process is that results in what I'm doing now)
And then you shall be immortal.

I could wear the Gerald plush on my shoulder!

Who totally exists.

I would prefer to have a lil iron ninja on my shoulder telling me to do bad things.

I can see it now...

Jim Doki: What a Doctor Who convention this is, I just got my picture taken with a hot stormtrooper girl.

Lil Iron Ninja: Good...
Now burn it all down.
