What mech would you use in real life?

the one time he went into a white space taurus, he just went akimbo with a friggin space lazer and the sputtering stupid leo-style smallarms and he was moving like he was the flipping lightning count. ... but then he ran out of ammo and was fuck this im dead. lazy git that he is XD
God I'm so glad their are so many Mechhead around from the battletech days. Really makes me wish FASA hadn't driving the universe into the ground. Btw my mech has and always will be the AWS-8Q AKA the Awesome. Old school Inner sphere, heavily armored with triple PPC means it will wreck shop before you can get close and if you do get close nothing short of an AC-20 gonna dent the armor.Also, since it's not ammo based you can keep it in the field as long as you want.

Megas, definitely. Even the most awesome of Gundams don't have elaborate sound systems and "5 minutes until end of episode" buttons.

Gundam: Custom Deathscyth/Shinigami or Custom Heavy Arms. Custom Zero is also a good choice because I love the Double Barrel Buster Rifle for all around good mass destruction. If I could alter Heavy Arms so the double chest rail-guns were replaced with smart missiles and the smart missiles were mini nukes for extreme destruction then Custom Heavy Arms all the way.
Zoid/Animal Based:
Liger Zero with its custom components. I loved watching that show and I think the controls would be fun since they switch up depending on what armor is put on the Liger. I prefer the blue liger: Jager for super speed. Who wouldn't want to travel 200+ miles per hour in a giant mecha cat.

A- The Dragonzord
B- some kind of Zoid
or C- Megas XLR
Also, would the mech from District 9 count? Sure, you'd have to have Prawn DNA to use the thing, but it has a gun that shoots lighting and another weapons that's practically a Gravity Gun.
