Guess I'll have to take your word for it since I know nothing about Warhammer >.>thahat said:void shields. there are weapons that wreck planets and the fucking thing would still stand tall and proud. damn imperial guard. send in a bazilion orks though.. and one or 2 will find some critical wires to pull out.. eventualy. prolly after the ammo on the old beasty ran out long ago xDMasterCheifn said:But that thing doesn't look like it would work. i play 40k myself, ad take my word for it, the smaller models are already retardedly hard to kill. let alone this big thing XDMasterCheifn said:Guess I'll have to take your word for it since I know nothing about Warhammer >.>thahat said:void shields. there are weapons that wreck planets and the fucking thing would still stand tall and proud. damn imperial guard. send in a bazilion orks though.. and one or 2 will find some critical wires to pull out.. eventualy. prolly after the ammo on the old beasty ran out long ago xDMasterCheifn said:But that thing doesn't look like it would work. The hellbringer is a good chassis, ok the default rigs have the problems you mention but swap out the powerplant, slap some extra armour and heat sinks on it and it's a beast.Rhatar Khurin said:Hellbringers have chronic overheating problems and dubiously low armour.Continuity said:I'm not a big fan of summoners, sparse weaponry, big target.loc978 said:Thor, but not the one that's popular these days...

Give me my Hellbringer!!!
Perhaps the dual guass rifle variant of the Maddog (Vulture)
8 rounds per ton tbh isnt heavy not combined with the fact it needs no cooling as the guass uses virtually no heat. and you said that the Summoner has a large profile which is odd as they virtually use the same chassis. A Summoner is a lightweight version of a Gladiator and very similar to an 3050 Atlas.Continuity said:The hellbringer is a good chassis, ok the default rigs have the problems you mention but swap out the powerplant, slap some extra armour and heat sinks on it and it's a beast.Rhatar Khurin said:Hellbringers have chronic overheating problems and dubiously low armour.Continuity said:I'm not a big fan of summoners, sparse weaponry, big target.loc978 said:Thor, but not the one that's popular these days...

The maddog is an old favourite of mine but I usually use it as a missileboat with 4 med er lasers for skirmishing. Very versatile though, I do have an autocannon build that I use for hit and run missions, masc and an upgraded powerplant plus a few jumpjets can give it a real turn of speed. Not a big fan of the gauss guns though as the ammo is so heavy.
