Darkorbit; Good graphics, large player base, totally free. I have some of the best equipment in the game and didn't have to pay a dime.

There are only a few MMOs that I've really enjoyed. City of Heroes/Villains and Diablo II were both very good. Currently, I'm just hopping around those numerous free-to-play (with microtransactions) MMOs...

Current favorite is Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent. Steampunk MMORPG by Atlus. Among the free ones, it's the best I've played...despite several glitches and the fact that the game is relatively unfinished. The community is great! Might be because not too many people play it right now...or that you need 50,000 gold to buy a loudspeaker to use World Chat (No chattering new guys that'll play for a few days clogging up the airwaves). Reminds me of Diablo II. Simple class system, battle-oriented...s'fun.

Also been playing S4 League...MMO third-person shooter. A ripoff of Gunz: The Duel, pretty much...but more colorful, and with just as many glitches. It's annoying, but addicting...even though the key to being successful is essentially to jump around constantly. It's the only game where even snipers ar encouraged to jump around in crazy fashion.

I played World of Warcraft from release date until last December.
Funny, that's when I started again. I played somewhere near the release, but none of my friends played and it was boring online so I quit after a few months. Started playing again last december and having a blast now. Plenty of friends (including my girlfriend) who I can do instances and raids with and such.

quake live

I'm convinced there will never be a better online shooter.
shit, I guess that does count as an mmo, doesn't it?

Well, I recently renewed my WoW subscription, I play Quake Live a lot (a LOT, I got the daily dose award yesterday, which involves playing every day for 28 days straight), I used to play Starcraft a lot (MMO RTS because of how many people play it), War3 a lot (same thing), A lot of online shooters, none that realy involve progression...

I've played trials of EvE, liked it but had no money, trials of City of Heroes, which I think if it had more players it would be amazing, I still have a few geared characters in Diablo II, which should count as an MMO if Guild Wars does (which I have an account for, technically, but hardly play it.), and I tried Tabula Rasa and level capped after it was free.

I love the idea of MMOs, and I'm waiting on Aion, Huxley, Global Agenda, And I think I might wanna try Shattered Galaxy, but C+C4 might fulfill the amount of MMO I want in an RTS...

And I think that if I could, I'd reserve a subscription for The Old Republic. Looks INCREDIBLE.

Well I played Shaiya for a while, but I got bored of the endless travelling/grinding and kinda just stopped playing. It had great graphics, though... :D

I guess I was hoping for something with a more player-dependant economy. There wasn't any crafting or farming in the game as far as I could tell.......
