What movie depresses you

Well, I only saw it once, but The Mist was pretty dang sad, and for no good reason too. They could have had a not horribly depressing ending and the movie would have been just as good, if not better. But no, they choose the saddest, most pitiful ending possible. *sighs* I actually think the movie was worse off for it.

I thought the ending to the movie was awesome. It was horribly tragic, a gut punch to the audience, and showed us that the real horror was how we react to events...not the events themselves.

I knew "what happened" in the film before I saw it. What I didn't know was what happens afterwards...THAT made the difference. I mean, WOW...
