I would love to see Jurassic Park on the big screen, too bad I was born two years later!

The orignal Star Wars Triliogy (4-6) back to when it didn't have the extra scenes, CGI, edits (Han shot first!) and without the prequels.

It's been repeatedly said, but it's the clearest choice for me - Alien. To see that film before I knew what it looked like, to have no idea what was coming... God that would have been fantastic.
I heard it traumatized a shit load of pregnant women back in the day.

Too bad you can't even see it on DVD or Blu-Ray in its original form.

There are a lot of movies I'd love to go back and see on opening day such as:

Star Wars, as in the original. Before it was Episode IV. I wasn't born until 1988 so, it's kind of obvious why I missed it first time around. Empire Strikes Back and, Return of the Jedi for the same reason.

Frankenstein, as in the Boris Karloff one. I would love some good culture shock, paying a nickle or however much to see that and Dracula as a double feature would be great. It would also be sweet to tour around 1930's LA or, New York

King Kong for the same basic reasons as Frankenstein and, Dracula above.

Phantom of the Opera as in, the film version of the musical released a few years ago. I was dumped when that came out and intended to see that as part of a date so I'd like new memories with my current GF.

Nightmare Before Christmas for similar reasons as Phantom only I wasn't in any kind of romantic entanglements at 5 years old (I just macked bitches; I was a little pimp) Still, it would be great to go back to 1993 with my GF and Rocky Horror up Nightmare Before Christmas. Speaking of:

Rocky Horror Picture Show! But it has to be the very first screening, before audience participation came into play just for shits and giggles.

This is what I want too. (I love the username by the way :D ) Curse George Lucas for denying us the classic!

As said before, the original star wars theatrical release. but that couldn't be achieved even if i invented time travel, because lucas is a massive jerkoff and hed find a way to supress the originals.
my second choice would be:

Immortals.
I probably wont get to see it in theaters, and that makes me sad. meanwhile, theres plenty i would have rather seen at home. Everything else thats better seen in the theater ive seen in the theater... or at least im sure of that.
Just letting you know, if you didnt see PA3 in theaters, you missed out, the best part about that movie was the viewing crowd.

As everyone's probably already said - the original trilogy of Star Wars. Man, I'd love to watch those huge yellow letters rising on the screen, with the theme playing all around me. I feel like I'm missing out, every time I rewatch it on a mere television. And uh, Marie Antoinette, I guess, because it was super pretty and I'd like to see it...bigger. I don't know.

I was lucky enough to see all 3 LotR films twice at the cinemas, and I haven't had a better movie experience since, not a bloody thing has come close. They are literally the perfect films to see big and loud.

The travel through the Mines of Moria, the battle cry's and stomping thunder at Helm's Deep, The Siege at Minas Tirith, the most epic shit on the big screen! They need to bring it back, fuck Lion King.

Definitely Buried. Even when I watched it at my house and after it was over I felt like I had to step outside for a bit. Watching that in theaters would have been incredible.

Also, I would have loved to see the Blair Witch Project. I don't even mean seeing it now on a big projector or anything, I mean seeing it back in 1999 with everyone's different reactions. Now, it's kind of ruined because everyone knows everything about it and wouldn't be as shocked.

I didn't even really like the movie, but that train crash sequence had me shaking in my chair. I would love to have seen that on the big screen with surround sound subwoofers.
No, you really wouldn't love that. I felt like that scene was incredibly stupid and it was just so loud for no reason. In theaters, it was just loud and obnoxious, not intense or anything. Trust me, I was disappointed by it.
