What movie or game or what ever do you hate that everyone else loves?

I hate the halo series as a whole. i thinks it is highly overretted. i also hate all of twilight and any social networking site. I mean, comon' people. get of youre butts and leave the house.

My most controversial film dislike is 300. I never read the graphic novel so I'm not one of those Intellectual property fiends. I'm afraid it's worse than that. I love classical history, and after watching 300 I felt that one of the greatest achievements of the human race had been massively short changed.

Because 300 was adapted into a movie there won't be room for another film about Thermopylae for a good couple of decades, and that saddens me. A film that concentrated more on the real events of the battle would be so much more compelling, so much more enthralling, and a much greater testament to the human spirit. Having read a book called the Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield, I fell in love with this story, and have exhaustively researched it ever since. Take it on trust, if you read that book you'd realise why the 300 just doesn't cut it as the defining film about Thermopylae.

Halo(All of it) Spiderman 3, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 10, Any of the Wii games that star those godforsaken Miis or Mii styled characters, Gears of War, God of War, Devil May Cry 4, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Warhammer Online, Blood Elves, Death Knights, Blood Elf Death Knights, Blood elf Paladin, Any class with the race Blood elf in it, Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid(Insert number here), Twilight Books, Twilight Movie, Twilight movie sequel.... *takes deep breath* Thats about all I can think of for now

Edit: Anything beyond the first Ice Age movie.

So anything that is popular then... You have a a right to an opinion of course but how about giving some reasons.

Halo has always given me the vibe that its too good for its player base, Spiderman 3, because of Eddie Brocks actor and the way they killed him off so soon, I hate Final Fantasy 10 because its main character was a whiny brat, Gears of War I didnt take to the gameplay, God of War, I prefer style over pure brutality, Warhammer, because its Warhammer, DMC4, see my Halo opnion, Blood elves, because they are gay, GTA... Ok GTA I take back, MGS I didnt take to the plot, And all of the Twilight BS because its Twilight.

That good enough of a reason?

Movie: Dark Knight: Face it, if the guy didn't kill himself, no-one would have liked the movie.

Game: Halo 2 & 3: The first game was solid...2 and 3 were just trying too hard.

In my town, this is something that everyone loves, even though I know it's been stated and hated on here; Twilight.

I don't need to go on with that, do I? Thought not.

For an actual movie?(Not to say I don't hate the books) Hmm... it's been way too long, but if I remember correctly, I disliked Bug's Life. I wouldn't say it's a bad movie at all, merely I didn't like it. It was probably a really good movie. I can't remember why, just a feeling from my 7-year-old's heart. Then again, he never really paid much attention to stuff more than 10 minutes.

Today? Probably Adventureland. My friends all thought it was fairly funny, but I was disappointed. A few times I asked my buddy Will if this was supposed to get funny soon.

Video Game huh? I don't know... I can't get into Animal Crossing: City Folk. I don't know what it is, but I just seem to prefer ye olden Animal Crossing. It was fun enough to hold me over a few days a week. Though I don't know how many people like that game.

Maybe a book? Well, ignoring that which isn't a book, I actually got bored pretty fast with the Lord Of The Rings books, but that may attribute to my attention span, see Bug's Life.

I generally try to avoid things that I guarantee I wouldn't find interesting, though.

Video game wise: Suikoden III, Kingdom Hearts, GTA SA (It was decent however VC in my opinion was much better)

Movies: Spiderman 3 (Good in some manner however I have never wished someone die more so than Mary Jane. God I loathe that useless wench.) and all the Resident Evil movies. Now admittedly I have only seen the first one however it was bloody awful. If you did not play the games you had no idea what was happening beyond the obvious. Then again horror flicks generally suck.

Books: Harry Potter, so horribly overrated.

Watchmen's a good one, but for me it's Pulp Fiction. I get what was going on, I get what Tarantino was trying to do. For me, it was really just boring people prattling on, disjointedly, about stuff I didn't care about.

Tarentino actually laughs at most of the fans. Apparently there are still people asking whats in the briefcase!

For the sake of the story they should have at least tried to fly. Sure after being shot at the should land and go on foot. It would take 1 page of the book and 2 minutes of the movie and then no one would have to argue this.

I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but Psychonauts. Don't get me wrong, it did have a lot of wit and charm, but the gameplay was average at best and tedious at worst, and by the last level it felt like they weren't even trying. I expected a lot more from a game reccomended by almost the entire internet.

I hate all anime in general. The reason being I can't seem to get away from the stuff. Seriously so many people have anime sprays in TF2. Which brings me to another disturbing trend I've been seeing lately: Pokémon porn sprays. The first time I saw one I thought it was funny but it's really getting out of hand.

This too. I've never enjoyed an anime I've watched, and the whole anime subculture just seems really pretentious to me. I mean, I've seen video stores with "anime" listed as a genre. Huh? How is an animation style a genre? (Though to be fair, at least it keeps it away from the rest of the movies).

Shows/Movies: Anything having to do with disney a few years after his death. Mickey Mouse has been watered down to no cartoon violence and for kids with a load in there pants, reusing bad actors, EVERYTHING has a song in it and has too many straight to DVD movies.

Books: Twilight saga, neednt say more, already wrote about it and i dont wanna re-write.

Games: The Wii, it's not a gaming console (sorta) but a workout machine and tire me out before I could plug-in my Xbox360. My arm was sore for a week, man I am out of shape. But I'm not fat...
