Piano, about 18 years, but haven't had regular access to one since I moved out of my parents' house and don't practice regularly, and I am extremely out of shape. I did a few years of pop organ before that. Hopefully I'll be able to buy one soon.

Electric bass guitar, about 17 years. I'm a good metal/hard rock bassist. Not so good with jazz/funk.

Guitar, about 16 years. But just chords and riffs--I suck at lead.

Clarinet--I played for most of high school and university, and even in a marching band, but haven't played it for almost a decade. I tried picking it up a few months ago and it hurt to play.

Guitar for about three years, Piano for about five I think, singing for four, and I can play out a good rhythm on the drums with almost no experience (Although I did dabble in drums at one point when I was younger)

In case you haven't guessed it, I'm majoring in music.

In approximate order of proficiency:
Voice (Approx grade 8)
Piano (Grade 6 1/2)
Classical guitar (Grade 3, distinction)
Therefore, also 12-string guitar etc.
Violin (Grade 3 1/2)
Guitar chords (self-taught)
Bass guitar (self-taught)
Ukelele (self-taught)
Tin Whistle (self-taught, and yes it DOES count :p )
Mandolin (self-taught)
Concert flute (just started this term)
Can maul my way through most stringed instruments (bouzouki, viola, etc)

Yeah, I like music :D

I've been playing the ukulele for about a year now, and I really enjoy it. Its an easy instrument to pick up while you're waiting for a loadingscreen or whatever.

...

RIGHT, no explaination needed really; What instrument do you guys play? How long for?

I play drums w/double bass. Cos I'm liek, a t0t41 b4d455. Been playing for about 5 or 6 years now:].

I know a lot of you are musical, so let's'ave'em!
I play Piano, Trumpet, and Ocarina

...and as for you being "Cos I'm liek, a t0t41 b4d455." anyone can pound on some pads and produce a beat (obviously doesn't like braggy drummers) while I can play Through the Fire and Flames on Piano blindfolded (is obviously an over-achiever)

...and no one appreciates the piano either, seems like everyone today wants wither guitar or drums

EDIT: I can only play the opening blindfolded; as soon as I can do the whole 7:00min song I'm posting it on youtube (that and I need a better camera)

I play the didgeridoo, obviously.

Seriously though, I can play (in order best to worst) guitar, bass, piano, harmonica, and banjo.

Bass for about 4 years.... Still not very good. Started drumming about a year ago now, too. That's going MUUUCH better. Vocals too, but no formal training.

Classical guitar for 14 years, 12 years taught.

Got myself an electric guitar 3 years ago and screw around with that.

I have played guitar for about 15 years. 3 years of lessons, and then I dropped it as a stubborn teen but have been teaching myself ever since. Mostly acoustic, haven't touched an electric in years but would love to.
