I play Piano, Trumpet, and Ocarina

...and as for you being "Cos I'm liek, a t0t41 b4d455." anyone can pound on some pads and produce a beat (obviously doesn't like braggy drummers) while I can play Through the Fire and Flames on Piano blindfolded (is obviously an over-achiever)

...and no one appreciates the piano either, seems like everyone today wants wither guitar or drums

EDIT: I can only play the opening blindfolded; as soon as I can do the whole 7:00min song I'm posting it on youtube (that and I need a better camera)
Lovely, good for you. But err, your saying no drummer in the world is talented? Guessing you need a better sarcasm radar, mister.

And since when did nobody appreciate piano? o_O.

Basically, learn to have more appreciation for sarcasm okay mate haha. Post it up here if you ever get round to it; I'd like to see it:].

No, there's talented drummers, and I'm not saying you aren't one.

Just in THIS area (at least) everyone cares about drums and guitar, and it seems like the drummers here have the biggest egos next to the football team

sorry for being moody though, I havn't eaten and well yeah mood-swings from lack of food... fun...

But yeah I meant no offense, just reminded me of all the pricks here that "learn" to drum in about 10-20 minutes then get these huge egos (then play rock band...)

and alright... I think I'll record the opening soon and post it for review

Hmmm. I wonder if I have the hands for bass.
Except from ruining my wrist, I haven't been having any trouble with the playing. I seem to reach all the notes I need to. Well, except for the last chord from Portratit of Tracy, but that chord is just crazy. And besides, if one does not have the reach to play like Pastorius, you can try more of a Richard Bona style of play, I figure. That guy just looks so realxed.

Edit: And may I ask what kind of bass/trombone you have?
My bass is a Yamaha RBX[lots of numbers], and my trombone is also a Yamaha.
I really want to get myself a Fender Jazz bass, but I figure buying one when I've only played for one year might be a bit of an overkill.
I had my share of wrist troubles when I was younger. Now I have a lot fewer ones.

I have a Yamaha Trombone, don't remember the model of it. I'm using a Fender P-Bass, mostly because I'm still not a great bassist and anything more pricy would be hard to justify. I'm still trying to get better at playing and singing.

I play drums...poorly. I usually tell people in conversation "I play the drums, but don't ask me to play anything". I am more about learning the theory and jamming with friends than any serious pursuits like playing in a band or acquiring any amount of skill.

Funny story: My bass teacher has a vintage Fender P-bass. However, he swapped the original pickup for a J-bass pickup back before he knew it'd be valuable, so now it isn't worth much.

Isn't the P-bass a pretty decent bass though?

piano & guitar

I suck at both but I will hopefully get there. It an on and off again thing so I can't say in years. I can read both (not very well) and can play a few songs on each.

Guitar for almost 18 years, longer than some of you whipper-snappers have been alive! Electric, acoustic and classical.

And for all those bad drummers out there, I learned some valuable lessons from listening ot this guy, even though I don;t play drums! Plus, he's the least arrogant, most modest musician out there - rarely gives interviews, signs autographs and overall detests attention.

Used to play the harmonica a long time ago for some reason...
