Mine was INTJ (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging) Otherwise known as... The Mastermind. I don't even care about what it means, I'm The Mastermind! Also one of my career things was computer programmer which I'm going into :D. Also apparently us Masterminds (Yes I'm going to keep on bolding the word Mastermind, deal with it!) Are very rare. Awesome! Mastermind!
Ha, me too. At first when I saw the low percentage I thought I might have answered it wrong but after reading the description I thought "that sounds exactly like me!".
Same as me, I have always been able to see multiple outcomes of certain actions that nobody else seems to even think about. I also have an incredibly strong will, I will not say I'm right or wrong until I positively know the answer.

The describtion of how INTJs will rather stay in the background and will only take charge if they see that nobody is fit to lead. I would rather be a king's advisor than the king himself.

Every description that was given describes my entire being.
I took this this years ago, got Mastermind then and got it again now, and three other people in the group I took the test with were Masterminds as well so from that and this forum it appears we Masterminds aren't as rare as we would like to think.

I'm also a scientist and Marie Curie is one of my heroes so Yay!

Reluctant to lead but willing once everyone else proves that they're incompetent. I like that.

I got Mastermind. I didn't think it was that uncommon, but apparently there are only a few of us out there.

iNTj, although seeing the amount of people listed as such and its supposed rarity I find myself doubting the results of this. INTJ would fit me though, but so would a few others, with a little room.

ENTP for me.

Haven't seen anyone with that yet.

Inventor like and loves to debate. Well since I'm studying law and want to be a lawyer. The description fit me quite well. Since i am known to piss off even my best friends simply because i always debate them... >.> I'm also quick to befriend people and i always charm my way back though.

"You are:
moderately expressed extravert
distinctively expressed intuitive personality
slightly expressed feeling personality
moderately expressed judging personality"

Extraverted 33
Intuitive 62
Feeling 12
Judging 33

Since I haven't read any of Doctor Carl's stuff and the website didn't offer any explanations in layspeak, does anyone mind telling me just what the Hell this means?

Another INTJ here =P My friend who loves categorizing people into the Myers-Briggs personality types said that I was a INTJ even before I took the test. (I am a bit curious why there are so many INTJ here... Are there allot of INTJ gamers?)

INTJ with a big percentage of introverted, 89%, Jesus, I didn't think it would be that much. The description was pretty damn accurate and my job does have me in the background a lot, which suits me just fine, so no objections here.

But who the hell cares about all that, I'm a Mastermind!

That just sounds badass!

ISTJ - Introverted-78%, Sensing-62%, Thinking-50%, Judging-22%.

According to Google, ISTJ is 'The Duty Fulfiller' and, in general:

"the ISTJ has a tremendous amount of potential. Capable, logical, reasonable, and effective individuals with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living, the ISTJ has what it takes to be highly effective at achieving their chosen goals - whatever they may be."

I don't know if that fits me, but I hope so, because being highly effective at achieving my chosen goals could be very useful.

INTP

slightly expressed introvert
moderately expressed intuitive personality
moderately expressed thinking personality
moderately expressed perceiving personality

Though I have gotten ISTP and ESTP on previous tests. Most descriptions of INTP do not factor in my massic inherent laziness.

By the way, I think a more accurate test is found here:
http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html

That gives me INFP, which is spot on in my book.

Every time I take that I get Field Marshall or Mastermind. It is 70 questions long and I am not doing it again.

None of them.

"Personality Psychology" is an insult to legitimate psychological research. It preys on the same predilections of the human mind as cold readers, specifically that when given a series of vague descriptors which could describe almost anyone, and told that they were tailored specifically to us, we will assume that the process by which they were assigned to us is legitimate. It is not. The tests that so called "personality psychologists" use are as useful to you as the advice a palm reader might give you.

The human mind is too vastly complex to be summarized on a relative scale that takes into account a couple of "personality characteristics." If you really think that the characteristics of a human mind can be determined by asking someone a hundred or so multiple choice questions, then you owe it to yourself to re-examine just what you think it is to be human.

It's broad-scale, a very rough approximation to the degree of being almost negligent. That is correct.

Egotistical streaks of our personality are just one little fragment of what the MB-Test does not factor in. It is not an accurate perception of a complete human being's personality, BUT it drives us to reflect upon ourselves.

This is the point where it becomes an interesting excursion into our own mind. Yes, it is cold readin, but effectively directed against ourselves. We can not summarize the complexity of our mind in a word or index, but we can approximate over many experiences what kind of person we are. The oldest such division - good people and bad people - was even broader, but that did not keep it from being discredited until recently, if at all. These categories are not inherently "an insult" and despicable - it's in the way they are used that they may become so.

However, this test is free and secret and has no catches attached, so I would label it a fun way to think about oneself and reflect on one's strengths and faults.

Edit: As for egotistical streaks - many descriptions assume the INFP makes people feel at ease because it is their "calling in life", and there is no alternative type if you have that trait but do not. I for one do seem to make people feel comfortable around me, people confide in me, and I help out people. But I do it to serve myself. It makes me feel good, but not because I help someone but because it gives me some sort of authority. Meyers-Briggs does not assume that people think like that, but that they are, in their deepest heart, pure. Like any test that wants to be paid for, it is geared towards leaving people with a positive outlook, neglecting their weaknesses and dark spots.
