It bothers me when people hate an entire group for a single aspect of them or for a single action they partake in.

For examples, see almost every other in post in this thread.

I don't get offended. I may get annoyed, I may get angry, but "being offended" is completely meaningless to me. And if you ever catch me saying "I'm offended" about something, please feel free to respond "so fucking what?"

People who say weed smoking people are failures and are not in control of their lives. Yes there are addicts and there are casual smokers too, I am one of the casual smokers. I enjoy me a joint once in the 2 or 3 weeks with some friends and a drink, that's my way of 'going out' with buds(A bud of my buds? xD)

Other than that, stereotypes. I wear black clothes, have a bit of long dark hair and listen to metal...The funny thing is people call me goth...go figure, annoys the crap out of me. I just like the colors black and blue(mind you, not in the face :p), and I have grown up with metal, been listening it since my third year on this planet xD

When people think that strawman feminists are an accurate representation of feminism in general. Like my grandma: "But if we get equality between the sexes I won't get any flowers from my husband," she said.
Facepalm.
And yes, I did explain to her why she was wrong.

People who assume I am a slave to political correctness when I'm just trying to be polite, instead of loudly defending my right to be a jerk.

Also, sexism in the gaming community. Gets me down when I can't even mention my gender (in context; not just randomly) without getting sworn at.

Pretty much when my family question my social life in that in their view it's not "normal".

I don't give a danm that I'm anti social since I perfectly fine the way I am and no one can tell me how to run my life other than me.

people that get offended. Someone did something you did not like, big fucking deal, get over it.
Someone just killed your father, raped your mother and ate your little sister?
Big fucking deal, get over it.

Pretty much the only thing that gets on my nerves is people's inability to accept or even take into account any way of thinking but their own and as a result, the inability to compromise (in my opinion, that's the source of most conflicts among human beings).

The distortion of science by religious groups, the media and other mediums.

If you have no idea how the scientific method works or have expertise in the relevant field, shut up.

People who get offended.

Especially people who get offended on behalf of other people.

Especially people who get offended and submit formal complaints to censor comedians.

Related to that, I get annoyed when people use the word "theory" as an equivalent of "wild guess" when it comes to science, to make a point that the scientists have no idea what they're talking about. I usually correct them. If they refuse to stand corrected, then I get a little more annoyed. Then tell them to go sit on an armed nuke while I hit the detonator in a bunker. After all, it's just the atomic "theory", right?

Hehe, if I was you I'd also get offended by people who manage the opposite, where others think they're hard workers when in fact they're lazy bastards.
That drives me nuts too, just not as bad as people saying i don't work hard.

"normal" isn't even real, only a mere illusion.

~ Gratuitous sex scenes where they don't belong. (If I want pornography I'll google it dammit!)
~ The way popular media is allowed to completely contradict logic/facts without being held accountable. (Especially in terms of economic and to a lesser extent, game related issues)
~ Rape/overtly traumatic events inserted in film/plays/books/etc as a cheap way of being 'dark', 'edgy' or 'deep'. *Wraps pun in barbed wire*
~ False apathy. (Usually a symptom of, and I quote from a book cover I once saw, "Princess Bitchface Syndrome")
~ Infidelity, or things/people that treat it lightly.
~ Sleaziness.
~ Overt self-entitlement.

Man, I sound so easily offended. xD There's just a lot of things that irk me I suppose.

People who think they know what they're talking about, when instead they are just plain ignorant on the subject. It drives me nuts.

But mostly nothing offends me, no one should take anything anyone says so close to their heart like that.

...A lot of things, actually, such as people who take things WAY too seriously, and the people who ruin things for everyone else.

Obsessive Bronies, I'm looking at you.
