I'd like some of the blindingly shiny armor from the 1981 Excalibur movie.

Morpheus' mirror shades.

I'd just march about lookin' swankay and handing out blue and red Mike and Ikes.

Pretty much every piece of clothing from BSG, but I'd start with the uniform, that gorgeous blue, crisp uniform.

Okay, here comes a list of a few things. I am a very materialistic person.

You god damn Ninja. I hate you. Apologize to me, now.
Please, accept my most humble of apologies. When I studied at Wang's Dojo of Forum Ninja Commenting I swore to always use my abilities for good. But I have dishonored you and myself. I am sorry.

Apology accepted. Cookies, while not necessary, would have been appreciated. You may live.

Ok, I'ma go TV here even though it was asked for movie gear... I really want Det. Zach Nichols' (played by Jeff Goldblum) leather jacket/hoodie combo he wears in a few of the episodes. Just an awesome combo, but I can't find any good pics to show it off, you'd have to watch the seasons with him in it to get my drift.

on the movie topic: Kaneda's jacket from Akira, the multiple time aforementioned Bane jacket form DKRises, and probably Joker's full getup from DKReturns.

Pretty much everything Nick Fury wears in The Avengers
And pretty much any coat ever used in the underworld movies

I really like trenchcoats, i have a few IRL, but they aren't as cool as these

I want those kick ass Jaeger suits from Pacific Rim. Specifically the Gipsy Danger ones. I look good in black.

I'd want Sarevok's armor from Baldur's Gate, just have it somewhere and if someone goes near it, a small speaker would activate and he would laugh menacingly =D

Edit: And a Commissar trench-coat from WH40k, with matching hat, just 'cause. =P

I'd kill for Cherno Alpha's crew coats. They are very simple, practical, and full of ЯUSSIAN spirit!

Actually I believe the Blues Brothers wore Trilbys or Pork Pie hats (Fedoras have a wider brim, see Indiana Jones)
Which might very well be true, but it is a self-defeating point. You see, very few people actually know the difference between a Trilby/Pork Pie and a Fedora, so they get grouped up, carrying the same connotations for the masses at large.
Hey I'm only trying to educate the hatless!

My rule of thumb is-
Fedora: Indiana Jones
Trilby: The Blues Brothers
Pork Pie Hat: Joe Pesci Lethal Weapon 4

Despite it not being that great a movie, (I enjoyed it but I haven't met many who agree with me) I've always LOVED Alec Baldwin's costume in The Shadow.

the 95th officers jacket Richard Sharp wears in the Sharpe BBC series. seriously Napoleonic uniforms are sweet.
if you are going to march to within 100 yards of the enemy in a solid line and shoot each other untill one side runs away or gets slaughted you might as well look brilliant doing it
Nah man I'm behind the lines sip-pin tea at the social, fighting's such a dirty business best left to those without swanky uniforms.

When I was about 16 I seen a low-budget movie called Cyclops. It was a mediocre sci-fi movie where the antagonist had the coolest shoes I had ever seen.

I bought the first pair I seen, Converse All-Stars they were called. I was given compliments and insults for a little while, they were not fashionable in my area. Sadly the hipster movement happened a few years later.

I was ahead of the fashion-curb I guess. Seeing as I detest fashion and brands, I went back to wearing whatever the cheapest size 15 shoe the store happened to have.
