People who interrupt my conversations and change the subject to something that I can't follow, or otherwise prevent me from being able to finish my conversations.

When I suggest something, and everyone pretends they don't hear me, then someone else makes the same suggestion, and everyone else goes along with it.

Then these same people tell me that I don't talk.... Idiots.

People who consider certain things to be part of a type of things even though they are not, for example:

Rap is not a valid type of music.

The BNP are not a real political party.

and Portal Prelude is in no way part of the Portal francise.
See, this seems less a pet peeve and more people not agreeing with your opinions.

Rap is music. Bad music yes, but music. The BNP is a real political party. An extremely right-wing skirting with racism political party, but a political party.

Things that piss me off:people presenting their opinions as facts.
Another thing that pisses me off a bit - people who can't have a little fun and decide to tell you your wrong when there is really no need.

Many things Annoy me, thankfully an equal amount calm me.

Example: I have a foldout table next to the chair I sit in when I do computer and watch tv. On that foldout table I have a washcloth. That washcloth is equally drooping off two sides of the endtable. If someone messes it up, I get annoyed and must fix it.

Make sense to you? keep in mind the washcloth is there because I like it there for some reason.

There has been this explosion of terrible slang words in my school recently that everyone uses, and I absolutely hate them. "Legit" and "sick" have suddenly become slang, and I can't comprehend why.

Wouldn't "sick" be a bad thing? I currently have a bad case of the flu, and being "sick" is not at all fun. I can't even begin on "legit" because I don't understand the logic behind it at all.
sick has been around for quite a while, it came from the Metalhead community.

but yeah legit is retarded.

OT: mainstream music, I want it to die in a pit.

Why has your school started quoting slang from 20 years ago?

Stuff like: hench, bear, ledge and chebs are the most recent things I've heard. It's funny, we all say it because all the G's (gangsta's not gays) say stuff like that when they're being cool.

There's also a few Jamaican things like bumberclut, bludclot, ras, etc.

The things that annoy me are people slapping their lips when they eat and spelling and grammar.

I consider your existence a great personal insult.

Seriously though
Vegans, hippies, hybrid owners... well pretty much all active new-age-environmental-activists. Thinking about it, a lot of things piss me off. I'm seriously a very angry person. I'm not kidding when I say a pen that is out of ink can set me off enough to scare EVERYONE around me. Sometimes I realize myself how fast and how much anger just came out of nowhere for no real reason.

When people mistake me for a girl.
You woudn't think it would happen a lot but it does.
I never say much so when I'm at work I'll hear people say things like

"Don't be to loud or you'll bother the lady." or "I woud like to buy this, Mam." or
"Miss? Can I use your bathroom?" and it really ticks me off!

I've allways thought that my complete lack of breasts or my excedingly deep voice would at least hint that I was male but apperently not.

I've even asked a few people if looked like a girl and the answer almost invariably "Other than your long hair, no." so either they'r lying or people in museums are extremely incompetant!
Grow a beard, it really does work. Since I've grown a beard I've had no one mistake me for a girl and as an added bonus had less random people start a fight with me in the street for having long hair.

A leather jacket should help aswel.

Now OT

The Escapist, instead of writting an essay for college, I'm sitting here telling Museums workers to not shave.

I don't often use the phrase, but, epic fail.

Fanboyism bothers me the most. Console fanboyism, genre fanboyism, music fanboyism. The attitude that leads someone to say things like "the _____ I like is SOOOO much better than the _____ you like" as if it's not just personal preference and opinion.

The misuse of irony, as in people saying shit like "I JUST POOPED IN YOUR AQUARIUM ISN'T THAT IRONIC????"...
People who feel the need to talk smack about anime and treat the fans like they're all drooling, socially inept otakus who watch cliche-fests because they have no life.
People who feel they NEED POWER over someone else, even if their "power" comes from (trying to) abuse others verbally.
People who go like "OMFG WRPGS AND SUPERHERO COMICS BEAT JRPGS!!!!1111oneeleven!!!!".
People who smugly go "/thread"
Yahtzee at times. Though mostly he's funny as hell and full of good points.
"Popular" people...
Manipulators and nazis (Think eric cartman, then put him into real life)
Halo threads
Threads about halo threads
Led motherfucking zeppelin and people who praise stairway to heaven, kashmir and black dog as some sort of holy trinity that's supposed to lead us to the promised land(any similarities to yahtzee is for the most part coincidental). Same goes for Opeth
Search bar nazis
Massive fingerquotes "indie" people (of the steve jobs-worshipping, starbucks-drinking rectangular horned rim glasses-wearing variety with some sort of ridiculous hairdo and hippie clothes).
Mostly though? Myself. Fear and self-loathing in Las Vegas anyone?

There are quite a few things that irritate me but others rarely even notice.

Incorrect grammar, either in writing or when spoken, irritates me to no end. I don't expect people's posts and e-mails and whatnot to be perfect, but I do expect them to make a cursory attempt to corral their mistakes. Where I live, the most common flaw is the use of words that do no exist (the result of producing a new contraction of two legitimate words, generally the result of the sterotypical lazy tounge here in Texas), or the use of the double negative.

People who believe without question what an authority figure tells them bug me to no end. I understand why it happens, but every time I'm engaged in a debate wherein my opponents argument boils down to "I believe this because that's what I was brought up to believe" is a slap in the face. I too was brought up in an incredibly conservative and closed minded place and I managed to shake off the yoke of blind acceptance. Sure, sometimes those authority figures are right - that doesn't free you from the responsibility of asking questions.

People who complain about minor injuries in a tournament fencing bout will hopefully have a special section of hell to wait in. It's a sport where you try to stab people, and like any sport sometimes you're going to get hurt. A minor scrape to your unarmed hand, or an errant shot to the groin is hardly a reason to whine and moan and stop the bout, because at the end of the day all they are doing is attempting to stop the flow of action so they can get a handle on things. If your injury doesn't need actual medical attention, they need to suck it up and fence regardless. This is really a problem that I can extend to many other European sports, where players put on a giant show of injury in an attempt to gain an advantage.

Open windows. My grandmother leaves windows and doors open and I freak out, especcially when she makes her sauce that she leaves open in a giant pot all day unguarded. I dont like bugs. A moth got in and she wondered how. I told her "THE WINDOWS AND DOORS!"

People who use the terms "hardcore" or "casual" gamer.

Religions.

People who are obsessed with "skill" in multiplayer games. (sometimes they don't even know what skill means)

Edit: also people who hate popular games just because they're popular.

And of course fanboys, but I think everyone understands why.
Why do you hate people who really like something? Do you not really like anything? Hm? (I guess thats a second thing to add to what really annoys me but people dotn understand)

I have a few more.

People that use "1337" speak. Seriously?

When Im playing CoD(1) and people take the time to put tons of colors in their binds, but neglect proper spelling, and remove letters to make words shorter.

People that think WoW is the greatest mmorpg ever.

When a few things of equal height and shape arent stacked neatly. That really drives me crazy. Also, when things of varying sizes arent stacked from biggest on bottom to smallest on top.

Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler... I don't know why cause they are both good actors and funny guys but they just f*cking annoy the hell out of me so much that I want to punch them in the face.

Also a member of my family who I won't specify due to paranoia.

This topic has been done before. I made a page long list of things I hate.

Anyway, what iratates me the most are people who are so overly dramatic, act like they're older and in college and say life is so hard when they're like in high school and middle school.
People do that?
I'm in middle school. I can understand an adult or a college kid saying life is hard. Their lives are actually hard. We're kids. What happens to us that makes life so unbearable? My father passed away and I'm dealing with it perfectly. I think there are really only two reasons why a kid can say life is hard, but for the sake of me not being banned, I think I won't say them.
this man speaks more truth then zombie jesus.
