Wow, you all let U2 slip under your radars. For shame... Also, The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Every rapper. The black eyed peas, I don't know if they're popular anymore but I always hated them. Every metal band except for Korpiklaani, I like them. Also all emo bands, it would be easier to list the people I don't hate.

I hate Rihanna the fiery fury of a supernova. Oh yeh FORUM HIGH FIVE FOR HER GETTING BASHED.

I don't hate: Coldplay
bowling for soup (shut up, i know)
Korpiklaani
Linkin Park
Good charlotte

I think that's it. List is subject to change.

I enjoy a wide range of music, and I cannot with assurance say I hate a band. Perhaps dislike, and even then it'd be one song, or an album.

I can say, that I [i\]really[/i] dislike Saving Abel, Creed, Nickelback, and some other stupid band that got damn close to being on my hate list.

The others at least some good songs.

And why does everyone hate My Chemical Romance? Sure, I didn't think most of their earlier stuff was all [i\]that[/i] great, but the Black Parade was well done.

Is it the lead singer's voice? Is it something in the guitars or drums? Or is it the subject of their songs?
It's all those things and so, so much more, just their general attitude is enough to make me want to rip bits of my own body off, maybe it's something that runs deeper, I hate the Emo scene all together really, I just feel like they're wanna - be metal, and I love real metal, so pretenders piss me off [/rant]
But... they don't sound emo to me. Emo would be like, Chiodos or something.

And it never sounded like attempted metal to me, or actual metal.

It always [i\]kind of[/i] sounded like My Chemical Romance.

And there were those other songs that didn't sound like My Chemical Romance... maybe those are the ones you're talking about.

Ughh.... -so this-.
Those indie artists do exist though, but I feel your pain. Pretty much any friend that I have who listens to rap/hiphop agrees that Mainstream is pretty much crap. They can't stand it either.

Slayer. You can't even justify them by saying the members are talented, but the material sucks.
All this band does is hit things at varying [rarely] degrees of speed.. With Nietzschean undertones..

The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, Avril, Beyonce, Fall Out Boy, The King Blues, Enter Shikari, U2, Taking Back Sunday, You Me At Six, Kids In Glass Houses, Coldplay (so, so much), you know most of the stuff they show on Kerrang! nowadays and that's in the NME. They both used to be so good *sob*

Chris Brown, Some kid on my floor plays him at full blast and it's just super lame. Also what everyone else is saying (fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, ect.) Linkin Park was decent; then I turned 12.

This, Rebelde, Tokio Hotel, Fall out Boy, boy bands, pussycat girls (?), and everything.

Exactly my feelings, and the fact, that almost every week, theres a new "Famous" rapper who everybody is listening to.

Slipknot: A sped up ripoff of KoRn, minus the talent. What they do with nine people isn't impressive in the slightest.

The whole genre of crunk but theres a new stupid 21st twist on it. Everyone whos doing it now is a fat, white idiot who is between the ages of 16-23
It's very popular on myspace. Apologies that I can't remember the stupid name for the genre.
