There are quite a few bands I consider to be overrated hacks, but right off the top of my list I'll say Matchbox 20 and Creed. Bleah.

Country music in general is something i just can't take in large doses, it just drives me spare.
Pantera and ICP would end my list...Pantera just grates me, it's not music is noise...and as for ICP...yeah i never understood how they managed to become popular.

U2. It's probably because of Bono, I just don't like that guy. Also, their music is crap in my opinion.

I hate that awful, brickwalled, noisy-clean, half-heartedly crafted guitar tone at the beginning, followed by the can-o-bullshit Line6 preset guitar sound through the rest of the song which nickleback is now famous for, and the fact that that guy's voice is so lame, so uncreative and uninventive that the only thing they can do is put that warbly phased-out chorus effect on it and pass that off as "zomg nickelback has a new sound for 2009 lulz"
