It's funny how some people call a game universally praised by both critics and players overrated. I know it's a matter of opinion after all, but the use of the word "overrated" sounds... wrong. For instance, I don't like fighting or sport games but I still recognize some of them as good, even though I wouldn't play.
OT, Call of Duty, from CoD 2 to Black Ops. It's too average. Its singleplayer tries to be good, but fails in comparison to true awesome FPSs like Half-Life and BioShock. The same thing happens with the multiplayer: it fails as a mindless shooter(Counter Strike: Source is better) and as a tactical one(Battlefield utterly destroys CoD on this aspect).
