What race are you planing on playing in Skyrim

The first elder scrolls i've played was morrowind and i've always been a nord!

It'll be cool to finally be in our home country

I really like the early screenshots of Argonians, so I'll probably start as an Argonian, I haven't really played as one before so it'll be interesting. I'll definitely make a character that looks like me, so probably an Imperial. Lastly, I kind of like the idea of trying out a High Elf (I haven't really done pure mage before, it looks more plausible to me in this game than in previous titles).

I'll probably do others, but these are the three I'll start with.

I don't know why but I just can't create an "alien" if you know what I mean. Aside from the class changing some times, it's always male humans.

I think I am gonna try first as a male nord barbarian of sorts. Ideally I will be marching around in the forest with a two handed war-hammer within minutes of release if I can get my hands on one.

After thatI think I am gonna make an assassin character, maybe a female kajit or maybe an imperial.

Well in Oblivion I was a kajhet sneaky, fighter, mage that turned out to be my best character, so I think I'll replicate that in skyrim

Dunmer thief/mage daggers, bows and a little bit of healing, Illusion destruction and enchanting

Breton with zombie minons.

Definitely hittin that Breton Mage/warrior first, those guys kick ass

then maybe an archer or a warrior.

The only vanilla race I play is Dark Elf, for bonuses to swords and resistance to fire. Regardless of bonuses those red eyes are always fun to mod the shit out of.

I tend to start with the Dark Elf whenever I make my own playable race, throw in some Daedric horns, make the eye glow flaming, and end it with some tribal tattoos; but I've got to make my Dragon Mount before I start modding anything else.

That said, this will be my first ES game, and I've no idea what any of the races are like beyond appearance or how it will affect my character.

So..Nothing beyond everything, then?

I'll probably end making a sneaky wood elf archer and then afterwards make dark elf and have him be whatever he ends up being
That's pretty much what I did in Oblivion. If I get bored or have nothing better to do I might try something different like playing an orc.
