I've come to realise that, odd though it sounds, I find driving by myself to be a very enjoyable, calming experience. I'm alone, no one is talking at me or nagging, I can listen to music or the radio as loud as I want, and moving up and down the gears, flying down main roads and motorways or crawling through towns and villages very relaxing and kinda thereputic. I'm in a little bubble, my own world that I control.

So yeah, I was wondering how other people, namely you lot, achive this chilled out 'me time'. What calms you, what you do to ease your mind etc. Fire away, I expect some odd/ interesting answeres do dont dissapoint :D
I bet not so much when your jacked or hit ;)
mine is playing a fun game or locking myself in my room.

Taking a roasting hot bath while listening to music.

It does wonders.
I used to do that when I had that luxury.

Now, I spray eucalyptus on my shirt collar. It helps quite a bit.

Just kicking back and chilling with my best friend does it for me. Sitting back and just listening to her voice relaxes me, and for total relaxation her backrubs will you put you out like light in 10 minutes or less.

Smoke some pot.
Yup...not that I would know or anything because pot is totally bad for you

What I meant to say was: Go for long aimless walks & play video games, maybe watch a movie or talk to a friend about whatever

I also find watching game reviews to be quite relaxing.

People watching... I know it might sound odd but I'll go to the local park or into town or something and just sit on a bench and watch the world go by. All the people going about thier lives, almost oblivious to eachother. Just everyone... doing what they do. It makes me feel small, but in a good way. Puts things into an odd but calming perspective. That, in the greater scheme of things, my problems, my toubles, whatever they may be are small, insignificant almost, so why worry.

Beyond that, watching the sun rise on a clear day is wonderful, you so often forget the beauty of a simple sunrise...

Oh and old 90's cartoons if its nightime and I cant get out to people watch, putting on animaniacs or the old batman cartoons or even going back a little further and the old teenage mutant ninja turtles cartoons and disney short cartoons. Its a nostalgia trip and is guarenteed to make me smile.

Lying on my bed with no sound. Preferably topless.
None of my music really calms me, I choose awesome stuff over calming stuff. Sometimes it does both, but then you've achieved some higher level of awesomeness that makes it override the calmingness anyway... whatever. Listen to Breather by Stellar* to see what I mean.

Same. Though that is probably the music, music will calm me down no matter what I'm doing.

Sleeping, playing the first level of Flower (It gets depressing at stage 4 I think?), eating, listening to music, playing video games, etc.

If I'm having a really bad day I will play some games that I remember from being a kid,Wild Arms, Resident Evil, and Diablo II are big ones. Occasionally I will play some Snes or N64. Photography and multimedia stuff is pretty high up on the list to. If I can afford it I go target shooting with my dad and one of my friends as well.
