I'm the guy who tries to think of another way around the problem.
I'm not the best at FPS like TF2, but I can do suprisingly well.
Where everone rushes one way with the medics, I casually stroll the other way, and try to suprise the enemy group attacking the horde.
Nothing more lolsome than seeing one lone soldier come out of nowhere and take out a medic, an enemy soldier, and a heavy.
I usually get killed by snipers though, and spies give me a problem because I don't have a spy checker with me.
I do quite well as a medic, but don't have the patience to play as an engineer.
I can't snipe to save my life, so I tend to be Medic/Soldier/Scout (when I need to capture command posts)/Pyro (I'm not a very good demoman :( )

I do as I am told by the one I have deemed "Boss"

If I am ever made the leader of anything I always go "Now what?"

I'm am usually the scout type of guy. Being able to see but not be seen is fun and can lead to some intense situations. Just saying this is getting me excited for BC2.

I'm often a tank or someone with the biggest fuckin' guns around. In WoW terms, I used to play a Mage when they were THE DPS, then a Warlock then they were TEH DAMAGES and then changed to a Shaman, and then to a Death Knight.. Although I always had my Warrior there, ready to take a beating for the team. Oh, I remember when I was leveling him, tanking those low-level instances in 'Zerker stance and with the biggest damn sword I could get my hands on.. and never losing aggro, or failing in the Heroic Nexus after a few too many beers.. good times. I dabbled with a healer every now and then, but I was really a tank all along.

In FPS games, I'll often play a sniper or some guy with an instant-death gun. For two reasons:
a) it's cool.
b) I can play the game with one hand.

When it comes to Halo, if there's a Warthog I prefer being gunner, as I'm generally good at judging which targets have the most priority, and when to bail when it all hits the fan.

Minus Warthog, I'll usually use BR and SMGs and try to hold down a position with the team.

Overall, I'm a teamwork sort of guy.

In other games, I'm usually the mage.

I alternate between point defense, and lone wolf heckling/diversion.

I generally fall into the line of support no matter what the game type is. In a shooter I am the one with a huge clip and low accuracy spraying a doorway so the other members of my team can move in closer without being taking out. In an RTS team situation I am the one building a defensive army while they go out and assault. In the MMO I play either a tank or some kind of support class for buffs. I don't need the highest score so long as I have helped earn the victory.

Well, I'm terrible at staying alive, but pretty efficient at killing something before dying. It's all those years of returning flags in UT99. What does that make me? Support role?

Perhaps a highly effective grunt (a grunt in military sense, not halo sense, before someone asks.)

Close up, shotgun to the face defense, or long range, you have a sniper bullet up the butt offense

Well I play TF2 and I seem to always play the role of the suicidal nutcase. Not always effective but damn is it fun, especially when you luck-out and slaughter the entire other team. Good Times.

I'm the "You go on ahead, I'll stay here" type of baddass... until I get my head blown off. Then I depend on you to revive me, mister medic.

I'm a mid-range fighter so I generally go back and forth from the front line to the back for support fire

I'm all about the "Make shit dead" role. I'm a close-quarters combatant with an eye for opportunity.

Medic/Healer and or Navigator/path finder there the most entertaining things to do to me... those and vengence for snipers who sit in 1 spot.

In a game - I usually go for the rouge in rpgs , and a standard assault class in most shooters

In real life - comic relief
