Hello, fellow chums!

I don't care if isn't Halloween anymore! I'mma do a fear thread!

It's about 11 MT/US and I decided to come downstairs to play some Dishonored. Now, my bedroom is in about the middle of a creepy hallway. That hallway scares the fuck out of me.

There's no reasoning behind it, just the fact that it's a long hallway with a door (leading to a bedroom) at the end of it and since the light is in the middle of the hallway, it's all dark and sinister at the end. Though, hallways at night just freak me out...somethin' could be at the end of that thing..waiting...watching... ._.

So, Escapist, what scares you? Muahahahaha. haha. -cough-

EN threads scare the hell out of me. You never know what you're getting yourself into when you click on them.

Bugs, crawling all over you... crawling in your ears, mouth, and nose while you're sleeping.
Things like that keep me up at night

Also really enclosed spaces. Like my arms are pinned close.

I had this eerie moment last night actually. At around 2 a.m. I -somewhat- woke up (I could tell I was awake and aside from the weird parts coming up I was thinking like I normally do). I say somewhat because I was hallucinating, which has never happened to me before last night.

I suddenly knew that there was a snake in my mattress about to poke its head through the sheets and attack me. I naturally put my hands over where I somehow knew it would poke through, I felt it press its face against my palms through the sheets, retreat, and then I just sat there for about 30 seconds, paralyzed with fear and not knowing if it would come back. However, either because I'm not actually crazy or because I was becoming more awake (or both), I soon realized that the situation was impossible, calmed down and fell right back to sleep easy-peasy.

Still though, it was freaky while it was happening. I'm not sure what kind of snake I imagined it was, but it wasn't python big, more like rattle-snake sized.

Well it is the Mexican Day of the Dead now, so you could pretend it's that, though fear isn't really the spirit of the holiday, it's more about honouring the dead than anything else, but whatever.

OT: Well I'd rather not say it's very embarrassing, though I have said it on here before so there's not really much reason for me to act like that, though maybe that's because now you guys seem more human than you did before, but whatever if you want me to say it again it's displays of affection, more specifically directed towards me, compliments and things like that bother me a little, but kisses and hugs, well sometimes I want to cry really badly when someone hugs me, also probably obvious given the previous one but sex, except I can't look at sex stuff I start shaking... : /

Captcha: kiss me, no joke that's seriously what I got after I somehow got over the top wrong...

It would have to be failure to be honest, but if your looking for something physical I would say spiders.

Just something about them... not sure what. They just make me feel wrong when I see them. Like a little boy would near Sandusky. -Oh bam!-

Heights. But not going to the top of a building and getting scared of how high I am. I'm scared of unstable heights so rock climbing is a problem because I enjoy climbing.
Spiders too, although that's more of a fear of spiders on me.
Being put in a situation where my decision could kill someone, but not knowing which decision will do it.

Spiders, spiders are one of the rare things that scare me. I can't stand them and whenever one gets into my house I make sure it is dead within five seconds me first seeing it. I used to be scared of dogs too but I have gotten over that fear.

Losing my Colonels due to a lucky critical hit from a Muton.
captcha: mumbo jumbo. Too technical?
Fine then: losing my highest ranked unit in XCOM due to a lucky attack from an enemy.

Horses...dear Lord, horses.

Whether it's a mountainous stallion or a wobbly foal, they scare the absolute crap out of me. I've been cornered by a large snarling dog that genuinely wanted to do me harm and I wasn't anywhere near as terrified as the time I tried to overcome my fear of horses by stroking a foal and mummy horse calmly walked up to me to check me out.

Things moving under skin, fingers being cut/cut off, eye attacks... I fear body horror and torture porn, let me just sum it up there.

I have a massive irrational fear for mannequin dolls. I cannot walk into a shop without steering very clear of the clothed inanimate creatures. They intimidate me.

This is why I freaked out in the shopping mall scene of condemned.

Spiders. They just look so alien and creepy to me. Sitting up in the corner of a room, staring down at me... planning...

Interpersonal contact. Talking to people I don't know (well), phonecalls to anyone who isn't a friend/family member. Asking for help in stores, offices, on the phone.

Yeah, it's a small miracle I can even function in society at all...

Spiders, although I know why and has to do with my sister when I was a toddler. But seriously there is something extremely alien about spiders......

I found that last part about setting feminism back way more funny then I should have.

Anyway I guess poisonous things, just something about dying on the inside. Just don't like. Lucky I live in North Idaho so don't have to worry that much.
