Failure. And I don't mean short term failure like getting a bad grade on an exam, or losing a game. I mean long term failure to be a person...to never achieve anything, the fear that I will amount for nothing and simply be walking corpse as far as anyone is concerned.

Oh, and spiders. Fuck spiders. >_<

Death. Seriously fuck death. I think it's due to me wanting to know everything and death is a mystery, is there an afterlife or isn't there and I'd love to find out but then I'd be dead and if there isn't an afterlife, then death scares the shit out of me because then nothing. Absolute nothing for the rest of my decomposing days and that's really terrifying to me and also the reason I don't plan on dying.

Why lie? You couldn't scare your way out of a box.

I'm pretty terrified of anything that jeopardizes my cyber-security. Whether it be a computer virus, an account hacking, or just a good old-fashioned scam, I am always afraid that any second somebody could be taking everything from me without me even knowing about it. This is the reason I have six anti-virus programs that I run on a regular basis and different, ridiculously complicated passwords for everything I use (unfortunately this also means I have to use "forgot my password" features a lot, like... all the time.)

Heights - Only when I'm not on stable ground. I can work on the roof of a two-three story building, but climbing a ladder that moves however slightly freaks me out.

Deep water - Can't swim, and am unable to learn due to this fear

Small insects/arachnids - Mostly spiders, I don't mind the bigger ones because they can't hide as well. Also it's usually the smaller ones that are poisonous.

Indoctrinating children with bigoted hatred & ignorance scares me, so I find the Judaeo-Christian-Islamic religion terrifying. The idea that sane children can be turned into schizophrenic psychopaths & released into the community as citizens makes me genuinely fearful.

Dogs, especially small ones. I get all tense around them, and if one tries to jump at me I have to stop myself from kicking it and running away. I have to know where they are at all times, and I hate turning my back on them. If I'm sitting near one, then I tend to keep my feet on the chair.
I've never been bitten by one, though, so I can't think why I hate them so much.

OT: Fucking bugs man! In fact, anything that creeps and/or crawls.
Hey, don't get angry at me! I had to Google "Creepy bugs" to get that stuff. I'm doing a service!
This is experience will be slightly more terrifying when I think of some random Escapist user hiding out at the dark end of my hallway... o_e

By the way I really think you should re-decorate. Your room looks hideous! And while your at it get some more heating in this hallway. It's bloody freezing in here! >;D

Is this a joke? You live in Australia, for fuck's sake!

Chickens should be the least of your worries.

OT: Growing old and/or being somehow crippled.

Okay, my parents make me take out the compost early in the morning when it's still dark out. We also have a stray cat that walks around our house. It's really scary when, first, the neighbors motion activated light turns on, and then when I hear a rustling in the bushes behind me. I sprint to the compost, and then back inside. I hate when I have to take the compost out.

I'm going to assume that in Aussieland, Chickens are horribly deformed monsters that steal Aussies' children in the dead of night.

So, everything scares the hell out of you and you've learned to conceal your fear? Thanks for the heads-up.

Two things scare the living hell out of me:
1.Roaches - You try falling through a rotten floorboard into a roach family when you're three and walk away without some kind of psychological trauma

2.Anyone that hasn't reached double digits age - they all have that piercing scream that reaches into your bones and makes you want to reach out and pummel them into a toaster cozy and steak knife set.

Spiders. Although, I can tolerate them so long as they stay away from me.
But then, because I'm the great, fearless Fappy, and a cat, I eat them. Because... I'm Fappy.
Still, spiders. Eight. Fething. Legs.

pretty much all humans that follow an obvious logical fallacy with almost purely negative consequences for everyone else.
or simpler: everyone who thinks to be right despite being obviously wrong, and letting everyone else suffer for it.

humans are so fucking scary >_>

Roaches and moths. Roaches are just fucking creepy and I've been scared of them for as long as I can remember. Moths... well if they're small I don't care but those big fat furry ones that everyone thinks are so beautiful are the spawn of satan. I walk out into my back yard for something, turn around and what do I see? A fat fucking moth just chilling on the door and it'll be there for hours... it's like they know I want to go back inside

And dying in a horrific car crash. I haven't been in serious ones yet but I'm quite scared and I hope I never die in a wreck.

Yeah, but it does give me immense pleasure finding new and entertaining ways to kill them.
