actual zombies, rather than possessed hosts or whatever they are, I want to see the zombies from the early part of the series with game play mechanics of 4 and 5.

i think if they're gonna try and stretch out this already-fraying franchise, they need a new character or something
one that people will actually like...

considering how the new character sheva worked out, i dont think a new character would be a good idea. So I agree with the ones who say that the series should go back to basics with the old idea of using the main characters only, actual zombies,and a character choice that determines how the game plays out for the most part. I wonder what would happen if Leon and Chris actually met face to face?

Everybody does know that Chris was one of the primary characters in Resident Evil 1, right? (the second being Jill) Resi 4 is NOT the first RE, right? Leon wasn't introduced until 2.

Decided to try and revive this, doubt it will work but meh.

After getting Resi 4 back I think a cross over of the 2 main characters could be the best way forward. Keeps with capcoms new ideas of co-op and keeps Sheva type characters from popping up, perhaps one of the Ashfords has started a new type of the T-virus/G-virus ? Or were they all wiped out I can't recall.

to be honest i don't think resident evil 5 should be considered a sequel it was the same as resident evil 4 but shorter and a lot easier but in number 6 i would love nemesis to come back.
