I'm 19 and I bought alcohol over a year ago. Good old UK.

I say get some Vodka, Archers and Cranberry Juice and mix it all together. It's nice.

They are both relatively cheap and are quite alcoholic.

Oh, right, fancy. Uhhm ok then.

I love it. It's like <$50 (Aussie dollars) a bottle though.

Probably too late by now but I'm gonna throw in anyway. A few favorites are Bailey's, Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, and Amarula.

Get Jagermeister and some Red Bull, pour a shot of the Jager, and fill a larger glass halfway with the Red Bull, and then drop the shot into it, and drink that. Jagerbombs.

Happy birthday!

I recommend Jameson's Irish Whiskey. If it's anything like over here, it should be readily available. It's my favourite alcohol of any kind, I've got a bottle in my room for special occasions (don't look at me like that, I haven't drank from it since August). It goes down better than most other whiskeys I've tried.

I do NOT recommend Jack Daniel's, though. I've tried a fair few whiskeys (and whiskys) so far, and Jack is IMO much, much less tasty than the others.

Absinthe, the real kind who have drugs in it, not the flavored Vodka one.

The green one with marijuana in it is the best choice.

Hey everyone sorry I've been gone for so long.

First to clear up a misconceptions:
I *have* drank alcohol before. Sorry if I came of as a drinking (and I cringe as I type this word) n00b, but it was a very social thing. Sure I would get smashed sometimes, but I usually kept it in control. I also plan to keep it in control tonight because I have exams to study for, but that doesn't mean I can't have some friends over for a few drinks on my birthday.

Also, while I disagree with the people who say "don't drink" you are entitled to your opinion and I will respect that, and I hope everyone else does.

I thank everyone for their suggestions and to those who wished me a happy birthday, and I have made my purchase! I feel like a real adult now, none of that "You're technically an adult but for some arbitrary reason you still can't drink" bull honkey I got when I turned 18.

So thanks again! (For the record I bought Labbat Blue and Captian Morgan Spiced Rum)

Now since this is my longest running thread ever and I'm greedy I have a new question: What did you do for your last birthday and/or how do you plan to celebrate your next birthday?

Edit: Or if you want to keep talking about alcohol I should try for the next time I buy that's cool too. I don't really mind either way, I'm just being greedy and I want to keep this thread going.
