TV: The intro to Asterix and the Britons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Swedish intros to Winnie the Pooh + DuckTales.

PC games: The music from Baldur's Gate (Don't ask how I managed to get anywhere as a kid without any knowledge of English (I'm Swedish)).

And in general, 'Sorry seems to be the hardest word' by Joe Cocker that my dad used to keep on endless loops when I went to sleep and 'Time to say goodbye' by Andrea Bocelli.

The theme of one of my favourite games always gets a moment of silence from me:
To me, this song represents the first game I completed that made me cry at the end, especially during the end cutscene and credits. This song is a major fragment of my childhood, and I'll forever treasure it.

I find the lack of Disney songs in this thread... disturbing.
I used to watch these movies pretty much every day when I was really young.

Oh sweet Jesus, S Club 7. I had a very brief thing for that band after my sister started listening to it first. The music and lyrics to their songs are incredibly cheesy, but they're catchy enough to garner as a guilty pleasure. A very guilty pleasure.

And then a couple months ago, someone used it as a basis for this cartoon fanvid. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1vqEQyPbBA] My mind was blown by how it fit so much.

OT:

<youtube=L_jWHffIx5E> FUCK YEAH, 1990s AMERICAN CULTURE.

The Monster Hunter theme.

It's so triumphant and uplifting it reminds me of the old MHFU days...before MH became Nintendo-exclusive. Perhaps not so much nostalgia as rage.

Time to bust out the anime theme songs:
^^Strangly enough, this gives me a more nostalgic feeling than the American opening.
