Well I got trumped, best I got is a Katana rack with three swords going from largest to smallest, though I do have a Boken (Japanese bamboo training sword) that a wrack people with when they say something stupid while I should "MEN!!" (Japanese kendo for head strike). Oh, and a I have a copy of world war z right next to my monitor, cause that book was fun.

If what you have is made of bamboo, it's a shinai, not a bokken.

You sure about that? It seems the two are generally interchangeable, as in you reference one, they both defer to the same thing.

Edit: I withdraw that remark, generally they both refer to a training weapon, however your right, as bokken is more used from combat/martial art practice, while a shinai is used for kendo. Also a bokken is made of solid wood and shaped like the weapons they imitated, while a shinai is a straight bamboo sword, bound together by cloths (long explanation is for my benefit and all those who are curious.)
