My samurai fabric (its like a painting but made of fabric, I imagine it has a name in Japanese) because it looks intimidating and the red background goes well with the color of my room. Plus, it feels really soft.

Probably the coolest thing in my room was a screen that was about 5 feet long and 7 feet wide screen that came down from the ceiling and a projecter that let me play xbox games on it. Good Times.

probably my old The Doors poster circa 1966, it's a genuine advertisement from a concert they played with Jefferson Airplane, I don't remember when/how I got it though.

That sounds like the greatest concert ever. I remember in an interview thee lady from Jefferson was saying how Jim would come out in her set and just dance.

It's amazing how many people here have confused the word 'epic' with either 'pathetic' or 'sad'.

Epic... I have The Iliad, The Odyssey, Paradise Lost, and The Godfather Trilogy all on one of my shelves. I can't go into what I have on my computer because the list is too epic...

Not boasting about anything, I got asked what in my room was epic, and I responded with the answer. I have 3 epic poems and 1 epic film series in my room. I don't understand why you would be sarcastic and aggressive towards me without otherwise contributing to the thread.

Because you came into the thread and made a derogatory remark about other people's lives. You're right, they are misusing the word epic, but by calling the examples given in other people's posts 'pathetic' and 'sad' I see no reason to be sympathetic towards you. As for why I didn't contribute to this thread? Well, it's because I thought calling you out was worth wasting one precious post. Maybe I'll come back at some point and edit in an 'OT' bit at the top. Who knows?

If they're happy with their things, why would any of them pay any heed to my opinion of them? It's not like I quoted someone so as to be offensive directly at them, or even specified which things I thought were pathetic or sad. There's literally no-one to take offence to my comments. A point lost on someone who doesn't seem to know the meaning of the words 'hypocrisy' (or of 'boast' for that matter).

I am OP and I found it a tasteless remark and please stop having a fight on the thread - just don't do that sort of thing in the future on the forums as it does upset some people.
