In order: PS1, Gameboy Colour, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PC, Xbox1 (got it for old games like Mechassault), Nintendo DS.

My DS is by far the most recent, as I only bought it a few weeks ago to play Soul Silkver, whilst my girlfriend bought Heart gold and a DS as well. Fun times abound ^^

When I was growing up my brother was mainly the one to get the main home consoles while I settled with getting the handhelds.

The systems I've owned in order are:
SNES (sold it) -> N64 (still got it) -> Gameboy Pocket (sold it) -> PS2 (broke) -> PS2 Slimline (still got it) -> Xbox 360 (RRoD) -> Xbox 360 (still got it)

So yeah, I've gone through 4 generations of gaming consoles and not to forget the 4 PCs and 1 laptop I('ve) own(ed). ^_^

NES, SNES, PS1, PS2 then I left that race and have been PC all the way since. I do have a 2nd hand Sega Mega Drive but it came without power packs so I have been unable to use it.

Edit: Forgot handhelds Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Gameboy SP and I use a DS occasionally but it isn't mine.

In the console department, I started with a Playstation, which became a Playstation 2, with a transition into Xbox 360 for the latest gen.

In the handheld department, GameBoy Advance into Nintendo DS.

Atari 2600

NES
SNES
N64
Gamecube
Wii

Dreamcast

PS
PS2
PS3

Xbox
X360

That might be it. The only major console I can think of that I haven't owned is the Genesis.

As for handhelds, only a Game Boy and Game Boy Advance, both briefly because I've always hated handhelds.

The original GameBoy
a SNES
and a PC (or several)

aka the three best things to play games on. Of course, I'd say 5 if I had a Wii and/or DS...
